M17 Tips/Drivers/Apps

yes its coming out, but it is stable dont change on ore of if i play some musik. I reinstall the driver

 

You may have to default it to SPDIF. Click on the RealTek HD Audio Manager. Right click on "Digital Output" and click "Set Default Device".

Hi, sorry there was no problem. I try to put the Musik in and it works, its only the Softwareupdate the A/V Reciever 1800 from Yamaha don´t like with the Laptop.
So if you choise digital out he say SPIF but it works the to on Opitcal out

 

Do we need to update drivers
from the AW site ?

I have my m17 for a month now

alls running fine

All i have done is Update my Windows
I got Vista 64

When we plug in a mouse
Touchpad doesnt work

But is there a way to enable it ?
so we can use both if we like

Thats real dumb for them to auto disable it

i think its in your touchpad options on your task bar it ment to do that ....

can u belive when i called AW
they tolled me it can not be done
& you can use only one at a time

Wonder if you know how i can dissable
my Finger reader
When I start my Laptop
It ask me to Swipe my finger to log in
which is I set it up
But i dont need it at home only when i travel

Is there anyway I can dissable it & use it
when im on the road
Again AW says cant be done
The only way they saiud was Uninstall the software
thats a bumer, im buying $5000 laptop & they telling me take the software off
its crazy

I don't know how crazy is it if you don't want something and you can uninstall it.

 

@ my m17 i removed the pasword of my user account @ vista and my m17 started up without any more "request" ... (if you have cc may be its different)

I guess it's for the m17x or m15x ... but may be you can put a nVidia card in the m17 as well

on my taskbar or cant find it in

When I recived my new M17 there was a new version of Commandcenter Vista 64bit German wich is working fine! But I don't find it online ... not in the DL area and not in MyHive!

Does sb has an idea where I can find it? (I have it on dvd but I am just interessted^^)

my problem is .. i got set top box .. but only with s-video, inches or scard output conectors .. its posible conect this set top box to my m17 ? On laptop i got only classic anthene (75 ohm) input ...

How does it compare to the ATI 9.3?

 

3DMark06 likes the AW one more than 9.3 but games like (normaly) the 9.3 more than the AW one.

But what about 8.57 ... sry I don't know ...

i will try it out after i bench 9.1

 

Well from the drivers dates id say its newer than 8.12 but 2 weeks and older than 9.1.

So im guessing its a modded 8.12 version
