M17X dell/AW australasia back-order on RGB LED SCREENS

Yeah its irritating me heaps, The factory won't get back to my Rep so he can't update me on the situation. So i don't know whats going on.

 

Me too, that's crap. How's ur rep say?

 

Firstly he emailed the Factory, They replied saying that they would have a ETA for me on Tuesday (Due to Chinese New Year week and time differences) so i was like "Cool cool i can wait" Tuesday came and i got nothing. Wednesday came and i got another email from my Rep saying the Factory hasn't sent him a reply. So now I'm stuck in Limbo waiting for them to get up and send either him or me a ETA for at least some Info on how long the part will take to get here.

 

Chinese new year is almost finish. hope everything going normal and u get urs soon.

 

Its still going? I thought it only lasted a week?

 

well people its not just u in Australia.. Am In London and still waiting for my m17x with led since jesus Christ was born..
each time I get a different lie.. Last time they called me they said they r short on led.. And not to worry I will get it in 24th of feb.. Now I get an e mail saying on the 3rd of march.. But somehow I was checking the invoice they sent, n guess what my led transformed to a ccfl
called them back but like usual they say not to worry..
so as much as I am waiting to get my first alienware , now I find myself waiting to see if I was laughed at n been given a differnt display...

 

I am now being told build will be finished 5th March. Shrug... starting to have bad taste from dell.

 

Web site is now working and showing ETA 22/03.... Arggggggggggg

 

It seems like DELL is speeding their order because many folks in US get their order process faster. Hope DELL get enough stock.

 

My Order status is 12/March/2010.

I just got out of Building stage. Its ready to be shipped to Australia.

 

12th that's getting pretty close. Is that via the website or phone? My rep said she could give me a better date Friday as it's due out of build. Lol I was n sngapore last night. Almost reach out and touch the factory in Penang

On the Order Status site.

They got my Order on the 1st of feb, They started building it on the 28th, and they finished building it on the 4th of march.

1-mar work in profress
5-mar manufacturing build complete
6-mar ship from factory
6-mar uplift
7-mar customs clearance in progress

I need a bottle of blue lable whisky and a taxi ride to customs to hurry this along
