This is mine running performance mode with the 186.64 or whatever the latest Lvtogo drivers were.

Twin 260ms and a Q9000, no overclocking, I'm guessing this is decent then?

I would expect the GPU score closer to 9500. CPU score looks good. The driver is probably holding it back. With OC'ing you could hit 11K GPU.

We all were newbie's so it's cool. As long as you not trying to prove a point and it's completely wrong.

    @mandrake
I didt run x on any system. I wasn't thinking at that time. I was focused on p with the sager and with the whitebook I couldn't get p to work much less h or x. I remember with stuttering one time with my quad at 3.2ghz, I got a cpu score of 6???. Very frustrating times. :(

I don't think prototype uses sli becsuse gamingacu got the same as me.
    Him q9650 9800m gtx sli
    Me e8600 9800m gtx single.

I know that it uses alot of vram when at 2500*1500 and at 1920*1200......

There are times when you get mad and just hold the power button and say some stuff that can't be posted. Then you pull everything apart, use so much or no thermal paste and retry and then keep at it for two months.

The stutter would just dip ramdonly. You'll be at 50fps then 20 then 0 0 0 2 then back to 50 , and since it's a score are high numbers (ex: 6400) it makes a big difference.

I have tried to open as much programs as I can to before it freezes. It was 28apps and then it said to much cards were open. I didn:t try before it crashes(don't know if that's possible withlinux)

I have tested the battery with no keypad light on.

I have overclocked the cpu from 500 to 600.

    I have undervolted the cpu.

I have scaled down the cpu.

I rooted the pre(if you know linux then you know what that is.)

Edit: it's find online. I'm a super genuis or anything. Lol

Plus many many many more. I could go on. Lol.

What did you do. I can't on my slow toshiba. My ide gets me mad. Other wise I would of tried.

    Edit for the post above.
There's no arrow on the pre so I can't delete or change what I did above. I meant to say i'm not a super genuis.

Lol. Ok. Thanks. I might dual boot or go back to xp though. Installing drivers on it is a pain.,
Downloading it in one format and then using terminal(cmd) and convert then become root and then install. It's a pain. I miss double clicking .exe and watch it say'it may take 7 hours/minutes/seconds to install.'

Moo in prototype how far are you?

I want to linux(ubuntu) because of the fact that my toshiba sucks. With 512ram and a ide at 5400rpm(it feels like 4200rpm) it's a pain when the reg starts to build up and the more you install the slower it gets and a bunch of cons.

So I went to linux because this is my backup computer and I don't really care about it to much. And I want it to work when I use it. Right now with linux, I have insyalled so much garbage and the start up or the shut down time haven't changed. Neither has the why the os operates after logging in. ,
Also since my pre uses linux, it easier to change stuff in it. But I am going back to xp tonight.
Theabove reasons are why I haven't and when I got my 1tb external, I formated it in vista and in xp x86, it says it's gpt protected and I can't access it at all. I have to reformat it which I am not doing.

    Btw. I'm a pc :)

how is it an ATI integrated with a P4 CPU.....ATI didnt make Intel based chipsets lol (unless I am gravely mistaken)

I know way back when Intel made chipsets that worked with other brand processors, but don't know of any other brands trying this

ATI used to make chipsets for Intel CPUs up 'til 2006 when they were bought by AMD.

    Don's sporting an ATI RS350 chipset c. 2004.
