I understand what you're saying, but is it really worth the fight, the stress and the energy?
That was my point. I feel i have said enough about this matter.

Wish you the best Stevie :)

What are you prattling on about exactly? - I take advice on board I've never been rude to anyone who has offered advice - it does not mean I have to act on it. If 9 out of 10 people asked you to put your head in a fire, I guess you would based on general opinion, eh?

What you are doing is just sheer aggravation, and for what gain, I do not know.

Thank you, Cloudfire. I appreciate you saying that.

I have sent a request to my good friend, Mr. Fox, asking him to close this thread.

Not because I want it closed, simply because there is far too much animosity towards me, and I fail to see why. I thought I had some good friends here on NBR and that I had a good reputation as being an honest and helpful guy. The vast array of comments and posts that suggest that I have ulterior motives for pursuing this with Dell leaves me speechless.

Thank you to all of the people who did offer genuine support, I wont list you all but you all know who you are. Thank you for standing behind me in my chosen fight with Dell. I will no longer be posting ANY information about this whatsoever. For those that were interested, you can always reach out to me in PM if you want, but I will no longer be volunteering any information about this case.

Thank you for taking the time to be a part of my thread and for your contributions.

    Regards
    Steve.

Negative Brother Stevie. Just because "trolls" want to troll doesn't mean you need to give into their expectations. Don't you not think a troll's intension is to get you all fired up (even perhaps get a thread closed) for their own amusement?

This thread has been very informative and lends insight into how one may overcome or combat instances such as yours when placed in a similar situation. You get children like Rusty who blatantly lies, argues, insult, mock and so on... and for what? Neglected to read how you wanted constructive conversation in regards to your situation. Came in here just to poke and act like a child. Made every comment that was not within the spirit and scope of this thread.

If we all allowed people to deter us, then we would not be able to make progress.
If we took no for an answer, what goals would have been met?

Keep this thread alive and just ignore children at play ;)

I agree with Tayer. You've ignored my last few posts, why can't you ignore Rusty's? (I did not mean this in an offensive manner, though it is easily interpreted as such.) Some people want to always have the 'last word' in discussions, but sometimes you have to be the mature one and walk away - just let it go.

As much as I hate to say it, I feel this issue will not be solved in your favor (considering all that has been said between Dell and you). But that does not matter...it's just my opinion. I also believe you should continue your efforts in hopes that it will end in your favor because you are entitled to such an outcome. Just stick to the advice I gave earlier - keep things professional, and be persistent. Try speaking with different people at Dell, those of which are not aware of your situation, and use this to your advantage.

Despite all that has been said, not only would it be a mistake on your part, but it would also be a loss to this community if you decided to leave and give up.

Steve may not be in his best state of mind, considering all that has happened, (angry and exhausted), but he is a helpful and resourceful member. We ALL have our disagreements and judgements, but we can work to get passed them. We are all adults here, right? Let's start acting the part.

Good luck, and may the odds be forever in your favor. ;)
