I'd like to know what the point of this update is too, beyond a minor interface change. Any new functionality? Everything is working fine for me right now so with all of the quirks reported here I am hesitant to bother with this.

Well, I am still amazed that AW does not triple check their software before releasing it. Isn't it better to wait a bit longer and have a finished product? That reminds me of Microsoft in the 90's when they thought consumers were the "paying" beta testers...

One thing that I just noticed, mainly because I don't do just basic themes, but another change implemented with A06 is that when changing colors with "Basic", all the colors change right away(with the exception of the alienhead), instead of having to constantly save and resave to see the actual changes

    Just one question
    1. Should I update the bios in my machine before updating the CCenter?
The version I'm running is A02 that came with the machine and is very stable for me. "If it an't broke do not keep fixing it till it is."

yeah that's what I'd like to know- as the m11x has A03 bios, does this count or is it just for the m15x/m17x? Curiouser and curiouser.

Quite a few people refer to drivers by their A xx #. I tend to prefer the actual driver version# :) BIOS should be referenced with A xx to avoid confusion.

v2.5.48.0 of Command Center is designed for the 11x, 15x and 17xR1/R2 models.

Look over Command Center's release notes. If it specifically requires a certain BIOS it will be mentioned in the release notes.

OSD (On-screen Display) on the other hand does require a certain BIOS version.

I've noticed since installing this (a06) and bios A06 I've not had the flickering light problems I had before. The lights stay the colour they are supposed to be :)

I've been reading this thread for a bit now from work. I went home and checked my CC version, it's V.1(something). o_O

Kinda old looking, lots of rectangular blocks, no color wheel. Was thinking about doing the update, but this puppy is so new I'm a little nervous, I reckon that's half the fun though.

I was making themes in this ancient version I have and noticed that there is a limit to morphing instances. I was trying to make a "master morph" that cycled through all the colors in sequence on the keyboard, ran out of blocks. >_>

I'm hoping the new version will yield some more interesting possibilities.
