oh dont be tight Moo!
-
ohh why not ?
im stingy
its how i can afford AW laptops on a scholarship and subway budget
but im pretty sure im getting the mouse for now and the keyboard will be coming when i either upgrade my m17x to ati cards or build my desktop (desktop is pending wether where we move will have DSL) -
Damn it to hell
I had an internal debate on whether getting the Mamba or the Orochi....and finally decided that the Orochi was the better choice....then they come out with this!
Civil war is brewing in my head, I now cannot decide between the orochi and the alienware mouse...
On one side, the alienware mouse is (seemingly) based on the highly regarded Logitech G9; and with AlienFX to match your system, its a perfect match.
On the other, the Orochi is wireless, and after reading Chaz' review, quite a good mouse that also goes well with the M17x...
This. Sucks. -
steveninspokane John 14:6 - Only ONE Way!
5 buttons? ... AW failed, epic.
-
-
I only count 5, and the Logitech site does not list how many on the G9x. I mean unless Dell is counting the DPI buttons, scroll wheel left-right, or the buttons on the bottom.
Would be nice if this was wireless. Just got a DeathAdder on Monday and the only thing I hate is that it is wired. But when I got it for only $45, it was a deal I couldn't pass on. Wish I had known the AW one was going to be so cheap for something with the alien head on it, I would have waited. -
Well I just found out my middle click button crapped out on me..looks like I'll be ordering this after all.
-
-
yeah... for 45bucks
it's a very good deal. Too bad I can't buy it -
why is everyone saying the mouse is $45?
when i click the link it says $99.
am i missing something? -
I hope u are ....
-
Damn damn damn damn he Is right ?!!!!!!!!!! Damn u alienware
-
Nope.
Price jumped to $99.
AW prices back into effect!
For those who ordered at $45 please let us know if you get it for that price.... -
Forget it then no mouse is worth that
-
Ha!
Alienware Strikes Again! -
I said it was too good to be true that Alienware would sell something at an affordable price.....glad I got my Razer now!
-
It was 45$ earlier today
-
Yeah I bought both the Keyboard and the Mouse for 120
-
shut up
-
Sad about the price...
..but still can't decide between this AW TactX mouse and the Orochi
I'm so torn -
well im leaving my dorm room now to go get the G9 for only
$50 at best buy.
an incredible deal... -
I thought $45 was a good price but didnt think much of it and now its $99 ? forget about it lol. that one on Chaz's site will be the next mouse i get to replace my VX Nano with.
-
No really thats more than half the price!! what you didn't get one?? -
I'm in!!! Looks awesome with the alien head and FX.
-
Damn, maybe I'll stick with my broken-ish sidewinder for now. At least the red lights match..

...sure? -

Soooo glad I got my Razer now, 45 bucks well spent. 100 for a mouse is just crazy. I miss they days where mice and keyboards cost pocket change. -
any one wanna sell their nice AW mouse to a person that resembles me ...
-
hmmmmm i hate this. am left handed so i cant youse this mouse
-
Perhaps the $45 originally was either a mistake or a promotional offer
$99 actually makes more sense considering that's what a G9 costs (and this is just a slightly modified G9). I'd still suggest the G9 though for reasons of 2 interchangeable grips and a weight cartridge. -
That sucks that the price went up. No reason to buy the AW branded ones now imo
-
Yea exactly. No reason to have one when the G9 is marginally better, unless the AlienFX and alien style really means that much to you. (You can change the colours just as much on the G9 anyway)
-
yea @ 45$ i would of bought a poo load
but no DELL if you are reading this CHANGE IT BACK ! -
I would pay 99 for a wireless hybrid version xD
-
I suppose $200 for the combo isn't too crazy.
I mean, a dinovo would cost that, right? -
Personally I'll drop whatever I need to on a mouse and keyboard if it works well, is comfortable and looks good and has the features I want. -
Logitech G15 or G19 when I comes to keyboards. Don't get me wrong. I like alienware as much as the rest of you but my keyboard also gets to use another program with it that logitech doesn't make for it. Its MMO multibox software called Innerspace. It lets me reassign all sorts of keys to specific windows. I use it for the MMO Lord of the Rings Online.
The person who designed the software made specifically to work with that keyboard.
If you look around you can find a 1st generation G15 which has 18 extra keys but no LCD, Other generations have 6 or 12 but do have LCD. With the M1 thru M3 you can remap those keys 3 times. Turning 6 keys in 18 mappings. This is why its the perfect MMO keyboard. Can't do that with a AW keyboard.
Now if only they could make an MMO AW Laptop with the Logitech G15 keyboard layout. It would be awesome. -
Just to let you guys know, my order status has changed to "Phase 5: (Order Shipped)" at the $45 USD price.
Hopefully I can get it this week. -
yeah I dont think it would be legal would it? for Alienware/Dell not to honour that price you paid for the mouse as advertised.....perhaps it was just a promotion.
Good on you guys who got in there quickly. -
My order was shipped today (Keyboard+Mouse) Should get here by Friday/Saturday
-
You guys should add the AW mouse also to your sigs but including the price. That's worth showing off for sure
-
-
i got the AW headset though and it rocks 56 shipped
i really wanted that mouse ....
if no one wants it .....
