Lol, aside from this being the most depressing rep report I've seen... I think someone had your rep shot up with truth serum ._.
That or he just abstained from the PR b/s.
-
-
I swear, every time I get angry and want to cancel my order, I check out this vid http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jdtXnwxeCkQ
And everything is a little better -
LOL My rep ask me to cancel my order lmao and I said No I don't want to ...
-
What? Why did he ask you to do that?
-
It would be a miracle on par with the Virgin Mary riding into the White House on a flying dolphin while grinding out Stairway to Heaven on a vintage double neck Gibson, if a single rep actually helped anyone, anywhere, ever, for any reason. -
@Rhodan
I checked my shipping status around 6pm.
That's when I noticed the change.
I wasnt too sure about the "2010/02/25 00:00 In Transit in U.S."
as the pick up time of 00:00 doesnt make sense.
I live about 2 hours southwest of Toronto, so I am assuming if it is In Transit from Toronto it should be at the Purolator Depot for tomorrow and then delivered.
However the descriptions leave alot up in the air so who knows.
Either way it should be here no later then Monday.
What part of Canada are you from? -
-
-
+rep! -
-
I watched the TF2 video and he was getting a constant 70 FPS with drops down to 40-50 while in playback. Very nice.
-
@ceol = any news of yours?
-
Nope! Still in build last I checked like 3 hours ago. I'll check in the morning.
My rep called and said that orders are shipping so mine should be out soon. -
@ceol = Gawsh it must hurt. No EDD from them?
-
He said it should get to me right before my EDD, but I'm just assuming it's at my 3/4 date.
-
@ceol = any other 2/3s also in purgatory?
-
Me!! Well 2/2
-
@SandersAKG Bastok FTW !!!
I wanna see FFXI running on it lol it runs on my netbook 900ha lmao
-
What luck to have someone who plays XI and doesn't hate Bastok =x
P.S. Upon realizing what a 900HA is (thank you ceolie). FFXI runs on anything x.x First played it on my Inspiron 5100 with 2.6ghz P4 512mb ram and 32mb vram (don't remember GPU). M11x gonna tear it up with XI and XIV ^-^! -
-
Here's to hopefully having it ship tomorrow
-toast- -
For Canadians, just a quick update on my m11x's shipping status. DO NOT click on the tracking from your Dell.ca account. Copy it and past it on purolator.ca and then choose track pin, you will get a lot more info. Here's where my package is now :
From my experience with Purolator, the package will leave Montreal around 5 am from this point and be delivered to my house in Quebec city in between 11 am and 1 pm Friday
And I didn't even pay for fast shipping. -
HAHAHA yeah i cant wait first game i will be installing too ... and Bastok is the best ... I play on Carbuncle atm was originally from hades might go back.. keep me posted when you get yours i wanna see screen shots
-
We should be able to max out everything and have it play flawlessly.
-
-
-
@Mounja I literally just ordered this afternoon - the account manager said I should contact him on Monday for an EDD. Once I have that I can probably drop you my order number for you to poke your rep with.
--neg -
I got a Dell magazine in the mail today. Apparently they can send that out but not my laptop.
-
-
it will be cool to have 1337
lmao
-
Actually, I'm starting to think that I could get some nice upgrades for my car for the price of the laptop. -
got a delivery exception from fedex today, as i was at work. went to pick it up and am now posting from my M11x. will post some pics in my sig later.
two things I noticed. fan lights up only when keyboard is lit. and an SD card does not line up flush with the case. two very minor things, but there goes my idea of leaving an SDHC card in there all the time. -
Its coming!
Yep my rep said they would ship all the parts minus the chassis, processor, screen, hard drive, keyboard, bluetooth, Gobi, ram, motherboard, and just send them all later!
Oh yeah no box, manual, or any type of packaging either!
Instead i get a picture of the m11x and an EPP brochure!
The rest will ship as they reach the factory. -
@Blinkojobin
second time you popped my excitement bubble..
i'm gonna go hide in a cave now -
@SilverJester It's the AU base model, black, home premium etc. I like the black better than the silver since I like my computers to have uniform colouring, and fingerprints aren't an issue for me.
I think all the people who ordered in the first few days of feb got rear-ended by the not-quite-ready-yet website - imo you probably all should have cancelled and reordered around the 10th.
--neg -
With most of our estimated ship dates approaching, who is gonna cancel if it goes over?
-
-
Hehe sorry Darkamikaze. I'll try to be less negative in the future!
-
@ultimatorious pic of SD card in slot? how far does it stick out?
--neg -
@nuke737 thx much, +rep
doesn't look too bad rly, though i can't work out why nobody makes them flush anymore

A little shock this morning: order status on my Dell account had been changed to "Canceled"! Wasn't my doing and since I had already paid for it, I was kind of worried.
So I called Dell support and apparently "due to an issue with their system" my order had been cancelled.
The guy told me to re-order the same setup and they would make sure things were sorted out. Is this standard procedure? Anyone ever experienced this before. It's my first time ordering from Dell, so I feel very welcome as a customer. -
Go online and build the system. Add it to you cart, but don't check out. Then call Dell sales and tell them the story. They can access your cart from there. Be sure to stress that you don't want to be double billed!
Nothing standard about it. Shame on the rep you talked to btw. He should have sorted it then and there. What he did was leave it for you to sort out with the next rep you talk to. Maybe some righteous indignation is in order... you should get a discount or something. -
I am thinking of cancelling my M11X and going for the following plus its €500 cheaper.

I'm guessing the reps are getting slammed over the m11x, but it's their own fault. Their complete lack of meaningful information whatsoever it's what frustrates me most.
If they told me the truth about the situation, despite how unpleasant it might be, i'd be much less annoyed. -
-
I agree if i had solid info i could base my decesion on i would either wait for M11x or just cancel and order the above straight away and the rep said i would have this within a week.
-
Order is out for Delivery!
Canadian Order.
Ontario.
Via Purolator it only took 2 days to ship and that was with regular shipping.
I am impressed.
