    I just did one run of the dual vs quad stuff john. will do a more thorough battery of runs this weekend though

    and both of your cpus are above 2.0 ghz correct?
    try down clocking your qx to 2.0 ghz or the t9900

    Yup. Your last test did not run properyly, because your average is too high. This has been a common problem with many ATi users.

    Are you sure its not due to the resolution being 1280x1024 with medium settings?

    The Q9000 is the reason for those scores..
    Your i7 is far more powerful..
    Anyway..
    The sole purpose of these benchmarks was to compare the Q9000 to the QX9300 while both processors are running at relatively the same speed(around 2.5ghz)

    Since I've maxed my FSB and MEM frequency to 1333..Can someone with a QX9300+4870CF lower their processor clock to 2.49/2.500Ghz and run 3dMark06 and post their score?
