    Hey guys, how long do you think it will take for Canadian orders to get shipped? I have been in production (don't know exactly what phase) since the 4th and was hoping that it would ship sometime soon. Anybody have any estimates? Our us Canadians stuck on the same boat with other foreign countries?

    I don't mind waiting, just knowing you will get it a little earlier is a plus if you know what I mean. Anyways, does anyone have an estimate of how many of these machines dell is building?

    After reading those benchmarks I'm gonna decide if it's worth the hassle and frustration of waiting before mine goes in production or that I gonna cancel my order. :(

    Wouldn't count on it too much! You might be in for antoher disappointment.
    After all its Dell. And I was told something about another 20 days extra Leadtime on the M17x.

    Production since the 4th, that's nothing.
    Im in pre-production since the 5th and still counting.

    And if you're not in boxing stage already it might take another 5 days before yours is shipping.

    Anyhow US-customers come first. Congrats to them. :rolleyes:

    And yes, maybe you're on the same boat as us.

    They said payment would be taken out when the order was shipped. But yeah, it's messed up. I've placed the order again, waited 30 minutes for the rep to call me back and NOW when payment is going through, she says that the bank is not authorising my card. So much stupid f ucking hassle. Dell are a complete joke right now. Got to call up my bank in a minute and then ask them to give authorisation to Dell so I can place the order. Such a waste of time.

    So, the plot thickens. I called up my bank to tell them to authorise Dell to take payment for a laptop BUT Dell have already taken the money from my account 9 days ago, on the 8th June, for my first order. I don't have enough money for the order to process it again, obviously. Can't get through to the rep I've been assigned to now but this is beyond a joke now.
