well fedex will not deliver tomorrow either so don't get your hopes up. Fedex charges a fee for saturday deliveries and dell does not pay it. Maybe you will be lucky? i dunno but don't get your hopes up for tomorrow expect it on monday.

 

i thought fedex ground doesnt deliver on mondays?

 

if that is true, expect it on tuesday then

 

Mine is scheduled for delivery on Tuesday.

You are not the first to say this. I wonder why I got mine on a Saturday? It was via Fed Ex home ground. Am I wrong, and I was an exception? Now I am curious.

 

no you were just probably the lucky one, doesn't mean i'm not wrong though but fedex does charge extra for saturdays, maybe dell is paying this fee now, dunno?

 

how much is the saturday delivery fee?

lol i did get really lucky somehow though they made mine express shipping and i didnt pay for it so thats my story but ull be on urs soon enough itll be worth the wait plus the more u want it the more ull enjoy it

my order takes awhile to get here lol MY edd is aug 27th.

 

My order got shipped on 7/31.... EDD was 08/13 and has been updated to 08/05..... super excited abt it.... can wait to get my hands on it

 

I called about still being in "Order Processing" and found that the card we use had been frozen because of a mistake made with it last month. We called the appropriate people and got it all cleared up and now i'm in the "In Production" Phase!!!! YAY!

yea mine only updated once in Tenn on Tuesday, then friday in portland.

The WUXGA screen said it had a 4 day delay then when I selected it it added like 6 days to my preliminary ship date....?

Sorry if it's been asked before but are these EDD's actually about right or will I maybe be receiving my computer sooner? I looked through a bunch of pages on this thread but it's hard to follow the order of just one person to see how their EDD compared to their actual delivery date...

 

my EDD was 8/11....and mines only about 8 hrs away....too bad they dont deliver on sundays or mondays x( so ill probly get it tuesday

 

Well thats good news!

It just didn't seem right that it will take almost a month when other computers on the site had preliminary ship dates as early as 8/4. I will be away from home from the 8th until the 15th so if it is about a week or so early like yours then that will be perfect

 

FedEx tracking is taking forever to update!! i wana know where my computer is dang it!!!! ='(

 

hey man, you gotta remember, its the weekend...you and i have the same EDD from fedex....5Aug.....

my guess is that it left TN yesterday morning and is sitting at the airport warehouse that is closest to you, waiting to be seperated and put on a local delivery truck. depending on how far you are from the warehouse, that will make up the decision for a tues or weds delivery. me, im a betting on a tues. delivery.

 

Could very well mean that is has been shipped on Juy 30th from the factory to the USA and that FedEx still hasn't got it.

Shipping from China to TN does not involve Fedex and has nothing to do with tracking. The flight out of Taipei is a China Airlines cargo plane. lol

Tracking info is posted after ECFC boxes the laptop and generates a Fedex shipping label. Then it is taken to a depot where fedex picks them up and tracking info is finally displayed on the website.
