Are you saying you can have an OEM QX9300 for $500??? Meaning the real thing, same as stock CPU not an engineering sample?

Says is out of stock but you should be able to order it on backorder. In the link I gave there is checkout option on the left.

 

added to the cart says its in stock.. hmm nevermind it said it was in stock i added another a seconf one and said out of stock then i removed one and is still out of stock now..

 

well it just let me order one....we will see what happens

edit be careful.. i clicked on order now and my cart said 2 in it then the next screen said 5 in my cart. this happened twice to me so watch what you are ordering or you may have a surprise..

I know, but they are easy enough to sell, especially if I ask for what I paid and not what they go for now (don't pm me asking for it as I will be keeping until this HP chip comes in - if it does at all)

yea good thing you brought this topic up i was going to get qs 9300 for 500 from shirley on ebay... what luck.

 

This will be an OEM as well (I presume new - anyone know if HP would send a refurb?) so supposedly more stable than an ES (although they have been working great!)

 

I was told the QX9300 OEM (which I bought last weekend) was a HP spare part as well. If I just had the M17x to put it in...

Says in the BST rules, no ES chips can be sold on the forums

 

I find it funny that NBR changes their rules to adapt to OTHER company's policies. For example, the adding a paypal fee (which they state is a Paypal thing, but it's not, it's a Credit Card thing if you read through the Paypal terms of use) and the ES processors.

Next thing you know, all threads about upgrading processors, overclocking, etc will be banned since they void the manufacturer's warranty.

Some of the LCD's were like $800 or whatever. And there was a FireGL for like $1600 -while an OEM QX9300 is $500?!?

If scook hadnt found this hp part i would had bought qs qx9300 cpu. Plus i would have cried if i found this post after purchasing a qs. I was that close in purchasing a qs qx9300.
