QX9300 OEM Can Be Bought For xxx USD

When searching for the qx9300 on the site I came up with a different part number and it was over $2K. I couldn't tell the difference.

Edit: here is the part # for the q9000 @ $712.50, 507948-001
Edit: 501107-001 is also listing as qx9300 for $2428.20. Needless to say HP is a bit confused.

 

Says "Part is not orderable" now.

And the other QX9300's are $1,529.21

Although i see lots of Q9100's for $316.51....but the Q9000 is $639.XX, so I don't know is up.

 

SHHHHH, just let them ship them out! haha

 

Ya I see that they removed the option to order it, guess we scared them....probably sold more of these in last day than since they stocked them haha

Here is to hoping that I actually get one.... (if not i always got my ES )

 

Probably just an error in there system thats why i didnt get all excited about it.

Hopefully you guys get the CPUs but i wont be the least bit surprised if they all get canceled .

 

I am not planning on getting the CPU, mostly ordered just to see if it would go through haha - playing the guinnea pig here. Always have had my ES for use regardless (but will keep OEM and sell ES if this DOES work)

 

On one hand, I hope the order goes through because that is an awesome price for an awesome proc. On the other hand, if it does go through, I get to play humpty dumpty with my new laptop and I'm not looking forward to that

while i was surfing the web i found this website

they are selling this processor as an HP part but i think it will work on m17 and
m17x, but is it an OEM or what? becuase the price is cheap comparing to eBay .

what do think guys shall i order one how much perfomance increase i will get?

 

in the m17 they are known to cause noticeable stutter.

This is a good deal but I am skeptical you will get it. A bunch of us tried ordering direct from HP as a spare part (also low price) and got our orders canceled.

It is definitely worth a try though if you got the money.

 

They give you a specific reason?

 

they would lose several hundred dollars on each one is probably a sufficient reason haha

I don't blame them but was certainly willing to take advantage of the opportunity!

 

I just talked to HP parts store CS and he told me my part, # 507946-001 will ship out later today. So either he isnt aware that its been cancelled or its gonna ship out. I will call back later to see if the part acutally shipped out.

I wont mind if mine ships (who doesn't want OEM over ES?), but will be fine either way (fortunately)

But I would appreciate some more communication from HP, once I made the order that was that (but I ordered online and not through a live person)

I wonder if HP watches NBR, and even then if they would be watching the AW forum haha

edit: and did you order yours the first day I had this posted? That is when I ordered mine and am curious if they will go out at the same time.

 

yeah i ordered it the same day. If you have an order number, you can call and ask the status. The guy said they were slated to get more of that part in this morning and he "Escalated" my order to ship out today when they recieve the parts. Im not sure if hes full of crap but we shall see.

do you have a tracking number? that is the only way to be sure. Also were you charged?

It seems like the reps from HP are totally clueless. When i Called this morning, the Rep told me that it would ship today. So i asked him to send a ticket to the Warehouse to confirm it (still waiting on the results). I called back and got a different rep who told me these were on backorder. So i called again and the 3rd rep told me that they would ship out tomorrow. What a fiasco. ill post the results of the ticket to the warehouse when i get them.

 

Well I am having a live chat with one now (the online thing) to check on my order status. Will update shortly

update: well I had a "ticket" created for me and Tatiana thinks that that should get me a tracking number in 48 hours (2 business days - so monday) We shall see.

I spent some time researching Dectrader, and it all leads to one person with ~29 different websites and a slew of not so professional looking sites at that.

 

I wouldn't give my money to this place. Just looks a little strange to me.

I guess using a cc wouldn't matter because they all cover you for any fraudulent purchases and whatnot...

I dug through some of their FAQs and they basically connect with many other vendors that will drop ship the package in question on DEC's behalf when you order some thing. That being said DEC also has some pieces they ship from their own storage.

Sadly I just don't trust any company that allows drop shipments. I am with electrosoft in not trusting them.

 

hp has corrected the price on the 9300 so even if you order it from them and they are legit chances are it will be cancelled

 

pricing error.. sucks for me i always get screwed by hp. it seems some have actually shipped. this happened to me also with the last 2 or 3 cheap deals hp had.. i placed the order the minute the link was posted and i got cancelled..

UPDATE

Just had $538 taken out of my account (that's cpu tax and shipping)

So I think this IS really gonna happen. Between that and getting the cash for selling my whitebook today I am QUITE giddy now haha

Did you try to order several or just one? I could see them being skittish of a "bulk" order - they do not want to supply some reseller who will take their business after all

yep bad is right i got stiffed last time on the 500gb wd's they had for 47$ they cancelled those on me also while a lot of people got them actually shipped out.. ill have to use a different account next time maybe mine is flagged or something i dont know
