    I hate to burst the bubble but check out the Blue Chrome alienhead wallpaper on your m17x you can see the i7 in that too. I'm thinking that its just coincidental and we are seeing what we want.

    The only thing I can really believe for certain is the number 12 on the kids shirt, I don't think that it's just a coincidence. Maybe if the survey didn't come out a few months ago I would think nothing of it, but since we know Alienware was looking into making a 12 in, I would think that chances are pretty good that the 12 on the kids shirt mean their making a 12, but hey, this is all just speculation, right? :p

    You have your bases covered! I have actually considered applying for the Titanium account but thought it would be kind of a waste since I already had a DPA. Not to mentioned that fact that I doubt I could score a titanium account with a killer APR like the one I have with DPA.

    $2800 saved up in the savings account (dont use credit cards... crazy right?!)... with my Dell EPP sales rep on speed dial. Oh yeah, I am ready. .... Unless of course, $2800 won't get me squat on the new lappy. Oh great, something to worry about now.

    Does anyone have a guess on when the invasion will come? I've heard Sept 24TH, can anyone confirm?

    I'm guessing probably end of this month maybe but who knows. I'm so glad I waited on buying a laptop, definitely buying an Alienware with my deployment money. I was so close on buying a Sager NP9262 but I canceled my order because my leave got canceled :*(

    what i thought was weird,,the m15x only had the 1920 x 1080 screen,,,,now it has both types of screen again,,1400 x 900 . i still suspect the m15x will be replaced , probably have a similar chasis as the m17x...the santa rosa platform is becoming older, and needs to be updated

    the m15x has always had the 1440 resolution screen, that's what I have, and got it 9+ months ago.

    Too bad the allpowerful.com page isn't doing the countdown like it did the first time.

    Your better off waiting for an AW, the only people that are happy with Sagers are those that either hate AW, or don't care what their really fast laptops look like.

    I on the other hand care what my laptop looks like, I had a sager np8660 for about a week, and sent it back because I couldn't get past the cheap and generic Kmart looks it had.

    As for the release date, I am hoping Mandrake is right, at least as far as the new m12x goes. ;)

    Wow, now you can only buy a refurbed m15x, and also they got rid of the Wartime edition in the drop down menu for desktops.
