    I like the shape of those rear vents... Those are rear vents, right?

    Actually, why don't they do something slab shaped again?

    those were back when AW used spiced up clevo chassis i believe. They design their own now.

    I do think it might be a good idea for AW laptops, especially the m18x, to have back vents.

    Some of them were based on Clevo chassis but designed by Alienware as well.
    Also, the M18x does have back vents.

    I'm pretty sure the AW model last pictured was based off of the ODM Arima and not Clevo.

    I meant to say i think it would be better if the vents were larger, flaring even.

    I think it would be an interesting design decision if the chassis had a slight slant.

    That's correct, in the case of the area-51 m15x :)
