m15x is the hardware I've always wanted, but someone from here always gives me a reason to hold off. What with exploding chassises and cracking lids and downclocking nonsense and now a revision. Been going on 2 years now and I still have a pos pc. This place is hurting the economy.

I couldn't agree more. I think regardless of what happens I'll go for it in July, as long as its not discontinued. Then I'd really be pissed.

Yeah I'm just being facetious obviously, this place is awesome for info on what is a major investment for most and I was probably saved from a $4000 cracking lid. But I share your concern. The m15x is cheap now, well cheap-ish compared to what it used to be. As long as you're willing to settle for second best cpu you can load this thing out for like $2500, 256gig ssd and all. And the specs now are fine my needs I think.

I guess we'll know the pricing ballpark before the current m15x is no longer available? I just want to be able to buy the current one after knowing the price of the new one. Cos, wasn't the m15x like $6k fully loaded when it came out? I remember it was something stupid, it cost more than a honda 600cc bike. And wth with the ram pricing. It just makes me not trust these guys.
