configing my m17 need some help!

OK, but even the old m9750 had only the WXGA and was a 17''.

Though i'd like alienware would implement a 1650*1050 for less bucks.

I was sayin E-Wrecked was very experienced in this OCing business, and you aren't. So don't expect the same results.

I still don't think the QX9300 will be good value. Mark at K|N OC'd the QX9300 to 3.3ghz with K|N QCore Optimization and his special heatsink mod and could only achieve the scores of a base X9100.
And don't get any ideas of overclocking your Qx9300 to 3.3ghz in the future, this is Mark where talking about.

 

Be patient mycrot, no everyone has WXGA+ and WUXGA 17 inch notebooks lying around the house.

call Alienware CS and ask nicely. they have refunded other buyers the difference, so they might do the same for you.

its about a 200 buck difference for me :/ because i ordered higher end parts is the reason. no offence though im just assuming thats why like 200 bucks is well 200 bucks!

If you do ask for a reduction in price your order may get held up. I asked for the $200 price reduction on my m15x and my order has been put on hold at phase 6.

Ok, I start to love AW, he gave me back 65$ difference.
We will see how it goes with the rest of the process, he says I am in Phase 4 and should get the system next week.

Guys, what is the spec of the power brick? Can I buy a third party power brick in Canada? and where?

 

i think its a 300w but im not sure. u can order a second one for aw.

 

i'd recommend getting your second power brick from AW, too much of a risk to get a third-party one.

ya i just called em and they refunded me the 100 and some odd dollars hopefully the price continues to drop..... also does any1 no if a canadian company seels bluray drives? for notebooks? i wouldnt mind putting 1 in?
