mob modded 9.2 for evry one

Sounds linke it is desinged for the 1440x900 screen?

Hm it is weard indeed ... May be the Modder "did this" ... does everybody with 1200p display has this problem? Did you had this problem with the Modded 9.1?

he just moved 2 weeks ago and has been looking for a job and he may be getting the asus with 4870's ...he has been busy

 

ill have more time to spend tomm looking into these i just have been away all day. there has to be something stupid i missed... ive done this many times before and never had this issue.

Well.. I can't assure that these will work. Since I don't have a system to test on - and it appears ATI has implemented some new features with these drivers..so it's kinda a hacked up mod that I did. A "hybrid" if you will.. hopefully it works out. when I have the time I'll check out the others, but for now I'm just trying to get these up for testing. Here's the download link for 64bit - if it works then I'll do 32bit as well.

Same ol' install method.. just run setup.exe and you know the rest.. Lemme know how it works.

 

If this doesn't work..then I'll try something else. But, I'm hoping this works out first go-round

ahhh..got it. Ok, so..can the driver install with just mobmod? if so, then the resolution tweaks should be easy. Otherwise, performance tweaks may not be as easy. Kinda hard to troubleshoot without the setup in front of me Anyhow, lemme mod the .inf real quick.

 

go to page 7 n look at coolmine pics ... the option to install the graphics driver doesn't show up sorrry subway last night till 1 and i had school today early... i have 20 mins left till next class BTW

 

oh.. did you try a clean install? or the have disk method? or you trying to install on top of another driver?

I'll re-visit this later.. hopefully someone has luck with it. Otherwise, I'll try and resolve it when I have additional time.

 

no ...safe mode uninstall every thing and then install... we had the problem last night Z finally got it to show up to install but we had errors

 

ok i installed it i still have the scaling issue. and performance is the same.

 

All I can think of right now, is the have disk method.. using device manager. if that doesn't work then I'm not entirely sure.

 

how did you get it don? this is crazy clean install and i can't get them to show up and vista is saying standard vga driver is the most upto date driver

don, under device manager.. Display adapter properties of the 3870s; does it have E-wrecked Bored Mod v92 as the manufacturer? Im just trying to make sure it installed properly, cause if it did then the rest should be easy to fix. but, if it's not installing then thats another hurdle to overcome.

any ideas on my missing INF error? i just did fresh install..got a inf error so i re copied the inf directly from E's and re ran setup and got a inf error...again

Just replace the .inf inside the previously extracted directory with this .inf and then you'll need to do another re-install of the driver.

Hopefully this works for the both of you. Hey, an idea Moo.. extract my zip pakage to the c:/ati/support folder.. I know the .zip doesn't include those directories. But, that may be the problem.

i never kept track so so far this is. remember when i first got it, it was 10,xxx. sbut crossfire wasnt working.

 

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE i have dont 4 clean installs and even re downloaded normal mob mod and nothing will install !!!!!!! i just bought fear 2 and it does this on me

 

I'll check back on this thread later..hopefully some others can install this 64bit version, and once it's working properly I'll mod the 32bit Version as well. I'm not sure why the scaling isn't working properly. But, at least it is installing. I'm gonna post another .inf and hope it fixes scaling. Can someone with Vista 64 install and confirm?

@ E-wrecked, do you know a tool to overcklock the 3870´s under Vista 64bit (SP2!!) after Catalyst 8.10? The last tool that works for me was AmdGPUCLock with the 8.10! Then i tried many public tools, nothing works! Also i tried to flash the cards with higher clocks, also fails! Editing the Bios no problem but i´m unable to flash the new bios correct! AtiFlash gives me a error (don´t programming)!

Please dont ask, why you´ll overclock your cards, i dont buy a M17 to running "normal" mode!

This is not that mutch for 1280x720 but ok

how did you get over 12000 in 1280*1024. did you do OS tweaks?

 

It should be doable without since i can hit 13.1k with the 2.8ghz one.

 

Öhm ... I am using W7 64bit Raid0 and I shut down all "Julian" processes in Taskmanager. As you see in my signature I do get scores over 12k @ 1280x1024 but the best scores are made with the W7 driver


Edit: Ah and the most important thing is! Leave you M17 in a not too hot room for some time (so it is not hotter than the air^^) ... after booting just shut down the useless processes and than let 3DMark06 run ... normaly a second run (with a "hot system") gets lower scores ...

don you are running at what res? i didn think you were at 720? i think with a few more tweaks you can break 12xxx easy. remember he said he was running 720 to get 123xx.

i was able to get these installed but e beat me to it today. i just got home and saw he posted them up. yep dumb thing i was doing wrong. anyway they seem to work great.
