This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     P4G up to 1.1.37 will work with first gen i7s. Personally,i recommend that version, it's been working quite well on my JH.

    I installed 1.1.37 and put my computer into high performance with turbo enabled through P4G (not but extreme turbo)

    It seems to take longer to boot up and load background tasks...

    I haven't tested it in the long haul yet

    I thought Extreme Turbo was only 2.9ghz?

    CPUZ is showing this i7 720qm clarkfield clocking up to 3193mhz.. I have never overclocked this laptop
