    G73 Trackpad is god aweful...

    Open up the Settings and there is a reset option

    Well, the new drivers failed me (figures....).Nothing like a $1300 computer where they couldn't even put together the touchpad right.......

    Yeah, it worked for me and my brother too. Both of us did Bios flashing then the touchpad borked. Fixed when stock Synaptics was reinstalled.

    I dropped back to beta bios 3 and installed 15.1.9 three days ago. So far my touchpad is working pretty well. I won't say it's perfect but it is good enough. Two finger gestures and chiral scrolling work well. The cursor doesn't ever get stuck in the corner or continually do the four way arrow thing anymore. It does jump a little when I put my finger down on the touchpad sometimes. That's why I'm saying its not perfect but it is quite usable again thank goodness.

    NOTE: I did have to remove the Synaptics driver and reinstall to get it working correctly. It was still jumpy and stupid until I did that.

    I'm not seeing this "reset" option?

    I think she means the 'default' button on the lower left of the Synaptics settings window.
