I have the U81a, BB's non dedicated GPU version. I think the GPU is not as good as the UL80vt's but the CPU is just awesome. So it counts on your use, if you are a gamer the UL80vt is better but for casual use you have more CPU on tap with the U80a. Now you have to also consider the UL80vt under most circumstances has more than enough horsepower for casual use, especially considering the Turbo33 option.

So if you are a casual user and can't live without a backlit keyboard the U80a is your choice. Ifyou can live without the backlit keyboard under most circumstances the UL80vt is the better option. You'd have to be sure though that the extra CPU horsepower is a must have as it really isn't that much more considering the UL80vt uses DDR3 at 1066 FSB with Turbo33 enabled and the SU7300 has 3 meg L2 compared to the T6600's 2 meg L2.........

    Hope this helps............

I don't think it does have blue sparkles. Looking at the picture and zooming in its all black glossy. Its a touch choice. I'll either get the Asus for $930 or the Sony Cw for $899. The Sony has more horsepower though.
