That's probably the best choice to be fair.

Did ASUS sell the keyboard with bottom panel (C-side)?

Good choice, let them deal with this.

Intel chipset, GPU (both ones) and wireless are good to start with.

Have you tried a factory restore? This issue is usually a driver misbehaving on sleep/wake.

Restore to the image you created when you first got your custom OS set up then, or any image from when it was working properly to test. The other option is to back up your current image, test to see if 8.1 sleep/restore works and then put your current image back on and work your way through all the drivers.

Guys have any of you experienced or heard of the UX32LN experiencing broken hinges? I saw on amazon that alot of the reviews for the UX303 zenbook that people are complaining the hinge (that connects the keyboard with the screen) just randomly broke apaet after 5-12 months of use. Not from dropping the laptop or using it roughly, just randomly! Maybe it's just that model, but they share the same chassis no? I haven't seen any such reports for the UX32LN model....but it got me worried as I've had this for a year. I personally have experienced no problems & hope it stays that way, but would like to hear if this problem is also known to exist with the UX32LN.

I upgraded to Windows 10, and now every time waking up from the sleep I get the BSOD with video_scheduler_internal_error. Nvidia driver update didn't help, and neither does the Intel latest driver they have available at their download site.

Any one else seen this problem? How did you solve it?

Do a refresh of OS (not reset), see if it helps.

Set the Intel graphics from 512 MB to 128 MB, works again.

Seems to be a bug in the Intel graphics driver.

Nope, my hinges are fine as well. But I'm pretty careful with my electronics, I imagine if you're more rough with it it could break.

    I see, so it's driver-caused symptom.
Is that the latest version of driver you have used?

I tried 15.40.4.64.4256 that is the latest driver in the Intel site.

    UX32LN supports Microsoft Precision touchpad.

    Use the guide posted here.

Necessary drivers can be found here. Extract the .cab file with 7-zip and navigate to it per the guide posted above. I used the "ETDMiniPTP.inf". Touchpad now reports as precision touchpad, responds much better and has a lot of configuration settings available in the Settings app.

Credit goes to u/ HIVVIH from this reddit thread.

EDIT: Works after Windows 10 FCU as well. But the driver had to be reinstalled, since by default it was replaced with the asus version.

EDIT2: Was uninstalled after updating to Windows 10 April 2018 Update, but the guide works for s
    this version as well.
