Which RAM are you using? The Kingston CL20 RAM or the Samsung RAM that came with the laptop?

It draws ~160W. But applying undervolt in Afterburner helps to decrease wattage and temperature.

I checked 150W vbios and 130W vbios. I was using watt meter and on both vbios the maximum value was ± 265W. There's no big difference between those two :(
130W version seems to be more stable I guess.

    Hello Ziga,

First of all have you repasted your Rog ?
Secondly, I've managed to make ryzenadj work (only for bench purpose, I put my settings in "demo.bat" then run it as ADMIN (that was the problem)).
    But I can't make a score more than 13600.

In your post you are talking about Afterburner, you use it for undervolting. I guess it's only for the GPU, and I have to say that I don't know how to undervolt with this app.
Could you help me please ?

Then, now as regards undervolting : have you (or anyone) fount a way to undervolt the Ryzen ?
I've searched for days and as far as I understood it's impossible for mobile Ryzen CPUs.

    Thanks in advance !

Here are my best 3DMark and Cinebench under Windows 10 Pro (latest bios) (I've seen results under Win11... )
    Office temperature 19,6°C.

    Hello,

There is a plenty of knowledge in here, I've already read a part of it (family), but I am slightly confused, as there is several bios we can load to our Asus g533qs. Is there a chance that someone will summarize the most important things? From my understanding loading 155w bios is pointless, as there is no improvement, and it is not stable. So which is stable? Can we reach stable TGP 140w?

Yes, it's re-pasted with LM on both CPU and GPU. You can under-volt GPU but not CPU that's correct. Ensure that you have as minimum processes running as possible during tests. Also you will get different results based on BIOS version. Latest 323 is complete crap. I'm on 315. But other versions might be also good, just needs testing.
You can find many topics in overclockers forums how to undervolt GPU with MSI.

LM on both GPU and CPU... You can get great temps. I'm gonna repaste mine this afternoon, but for me now way for LM because there's corrosion with GPU/CPU and heatpipes that degrade them.

For my CPU and GPU I'll apply my good old PK-3, for what remains Kryonaut and if needed 3M thermal pads. Wait and See...

I have a question about 150W MSI Vbios. I have one that I had downloaded in this thread, but NVidia Control Panel indicate 155W after flashing. I guess it's not the real stable 150W.

Can anyone link me the "real stable" MSI 150W PLEASE ?

    Thanks !

Do you mind posting your Afterburner undervolt settings file? I would like to try your undervolt settings on my Scar 15 RTX 3080 laptop. The Afterburner user settings files can be found here: C:\Program Files (x86)\MSI Afterburner\Profiles

    OK,

Finally repasted all components with Kryonaut. Maybe this evening when outside temps go down I can hit 13100...
(Armoury crate : all to max. Added ryzenadj settings (95W).

THERE'S SOMETHING THAT I DON'T UNDERSTAND : I GET HIGHER SCORES WITHOUT ADDING 3DMARK TO GRAPHIC OPTIONS IN WINDOWS...

Are you using the 240W power adapter that came with the laptop? Or a 280W power adapter?

When you do a 3D Mark benchmark are you seeing any red line artifacts with your settings?

There's no such thing as stabe 150w msi bios.
    66 comes with 130W - https://www.msi.com/Laptop/GE66-Raider-10UX/Specification
    76 comes with 155W - https://www.msi.com/Laptop/GE76-Raider-10UX/Specification
both bioses are identical - doesn't matter which one you use - result is same and both are stable when you know what you're doing.

Profiles might be incompatible between different MSI AB versions, so adding curve print screens.
This is your typical overclocked +120 curve: 1.JPG
This is +120 overclocked and 850 undervolted curve:
    2.JPG
This means that your GPU won't go above 850 mV and will keep 1800 Mhz. Low temps and high performance in one place.

P.S. default mV is 900, but with default I hit 87c temps.
P.S.S. once again, what works for me, might not work for others, so it could be that for others top mV can be something like 830 or 870, so everyone must test individually.

Hmm... Well... I get bette scorei,ts with GE66 130W memory than GE76 150W... In just don't know why.
Both are set to +190MHz Core and +300MHZ Memory.

I can't explain why 130W VBios is bettrer for me.

I run both with ryzenadj (almost all of your settings) and win10 graphical parameters (it doens't matter whbich one I use, scores are all the same).

    Please help me Ziga34...

You have a good score. Not sure why you're not satisfied. You only ~150 pts less than mine. That means you're 1 fps or even less bellow mine.
    upload_2021-12-7_19-38-15.png
Nothing wrong with your score. If you wish better CPU score downgrade to BIOS 315 and use these settings:
    upload_2021-12-7_19-39-31.png
    3DMark should give ~11100 score in cinebench r23 - ~14100 in multi
This score also heavily depends on RAM if dual channel, dual rank and size matters too, 64Gb gives best result.

    Hi
After new update of Armory Crate I have some issues with gpu tmp. Gpu reaches 90 on manual mode (full fan speed, I'm using 150W Vbios). Before the update my max gpu tmp was 82 degrees. Do you have some advice to fix this issue ??

This afternoon, I've disassembled the back of my G533QS, there was a lot of dust everywhere and in the fans... Cleaned everything, and now (20.6°C in the office) :

    @ziga34,

By the way I've read again and again the ryzenadj page, to create a service. Nothing went out of my brain.
I've tried with nssm.exe to create a service from the demo.bat batch file (removing "pause" at the end), it does not work too (error message when starting the service...

    Any clues please ?

I am using Windows 11 Pro and bios version 325.

    upload_2022-1-5_17-38-20.png

I will add that I applied liquid metal to the CPU and GPU around 8 months ago. I have not noticed any increase in the temperature of the CPU or GPU when i am playing the same games with the bios 325 version.

Until now, I was using the msi bios 155w, but I was doing the bios auto-update all the time. After the last update to bios 325 and manual mode in armory create, my laptop broke when I turned on 3d mark time spy. Fortunately, the authorized service did not find a modification to the bios and replaced the motherboard. Within 6 months my motherboard in the laptop was replaced 2 times because the first time I changed the video bios the usb-c port stopped working. Currently I am not going to change the video bios because on the official bios the graphics card works stably on + 170 core and + 300 on memory . The working culture of the whole laptop is much better and will achieve much more fps in games as on msi bios. The overall result on the official ASUS bios in 3dmark time spy is 11700 points, it is a bit less for the bios msi 155w where it was on the overall result of 12,500 points, but when despite a smaller result they work much better. At the moment, with core + 170 everything works perfectly so I will increase this value and test it. I must admit that I am tempted to upload bios from msi and change the power supply to 280w :) Currently, the original asus power supply in my country can be purchased for $ 99. I bought a wattmeter and at the moment there is no shortage of power on the official bios in cyberpunk 2077, the laptop takes a maximum of 210w of power, it is a pity that I did not check the power consumption on the msi 155w bios. So if you have modified msi bios, I do not recommend updating the bios of the system to newer versions.

Where are you going to buy the 280W power adapter from? Most of the 280W ASUS power adapters that are sold by third party sellers are not genuine. Also, I have been using the MSI 155w vbios with the original 240W ASUS power adapter that came with my Scar 15 RTX 3080 laptop for 8 months every single day under heavy load and I have not experienced any issues.
