well like many that get a new laptop, they write a small review and then play with it, leaving us in the dust :(

Its ok tho, btw he hasn't been on basicaly ever since he put up his review. There are others who will be getting the W3J soon too, and we can hear from them. :D

    Thanks,

    MysticGolem

Yes I put laptop like in the picture but to be honest - it doesn't help :], the temps were the same.

lol, you know the laptop prolly doesn't like sitting like that, causes heat problems... well may... try re-testing upright with the fan or without...w/e don't matter, ur numbers are nice!

Btw did the overall heat increase? when you overclocked? Can you comment about that, while running the benchmarks, plz

    Thanks,

    MysticGolem

CPU is about 65 degrees, don't know about GPU. Also CPU goes to 75-78 during heavy gaming (like GRAW).

great, do you notice any heat increase on the chasis? like a spot where you could potentially burn your finger if you left it there too long? lol

Or is the W3J's cooling system good enuff to not do that?

    Thanks in advance,

    MysticGolem

1280x768, all settings to max + no anizo : 18-20fps (after oc - MAYBE)
1280x768, all settings to medium + no anizo : 30-35 (after oc >40, you can change something to high, details for example)

^ I guess heavy FPS and other types are what my Xbox 360 will be for...GRAW and Obliv run just fine on that...

As long as I can eventually play Spore and Vanguard, I'll be happy.

Dont' know why, as much as I force myself to like the design of the W3j, I just don't. Is it just me or does it look terribly dull and bland? Even the A8j looks better in my personal opinion.

i think that's what attracts people to the w3j. it's simplicity and sleekness. it's definitely not a flashy machine.

I don't see it...I guess if you took away the brushed aluminum lid, I'd agree with you on the W3v, but the W3j looks really nice with the darker interior and the fancy mouse pad and button...
