    I want to avoid the hassle of plugging multiple things everytime I want to use an external monitor. please recommend me one!

    I'm assuming this is for your Asus U6?

    Since the U6 series doesn't have a port replicator, your only option to do purchase a USB replicator/docking station. Keep in mind that any video connections through a USB port will suffer some lag. Instead, I would suggest you purchasing just a USB hub such as THIS and just plug your VGA or HDMI cable directly to your notebook.

    If you still insist on using a port replicator with a built in video out, then take a look at Targus Universal Docking Station w/ video and the Cables to go replicator w/ video

    USB Hub, thanks! But I don't like how the DLINK one has the LED lights. Must find another.
