    Do you guys think a matching 9 cell battery will be available any time?? It would make it perfect

    Well the battery is a brick that latches into the bottom, right? I would think it rather unlikely as different sized batteries usually just stick out the back.

    Yeah, the F8 models will not support a larger battery, sorry.

    Kind of a pity too, since the battery life is so poor. I think Asus should have changed the battery position, but it was probably a lot easier just to toss some updated components into the A8J and give it a reskin.

    It's a pity ASUS doesn't make something similar to the MacBook Pro. The W2W is looking a bit like it. Imagine a 1.1 or 1 inch thick notebook with dark magnesium case, Geforce 8600M GT and 5 to 6 hours of battery life.

    Asus does manufacture MacBooks anyway.

    Also remember alot of the MBP's battery life is due to OSX, it gets substantially less in Vista.

    Well I would be using Linux anyway so I could optimize my resources better than Vista.
