Dell introduced XPS 1730 in some market in asia..(including India..) with a pretext of "first ever gamer's envy".. Interestingly it only introduced in the market where AW is not present currently.. So its means that (probably) Dell will not discontinue XPS line up..(or games pcs and laptops) they just restric there sells in USA and Europe..
There is one example is currently there..in USA site Inspiron 1520 doesnot have a option to include graphics cards.. but its present in Indian site.. along side with the XPS line up..

Dell still has to keep XPS-line parts for warranty reasons if they were to cut the line in USA/UK...... which means that they still technically could sell those products in other parts of the world if they wanted to....

noo.... their xps support is much better...

    THANK YOU!
They aren't cancelling XPS, laptops or desktops. too much of a brand icon now. but they might also shift over to more luxury but mid-range tech wise products, keeping the latest 730 and 630 alive.
