Dell Studio XPS 16: White, Black or Red?

I have a black one, and I am previous Mac owner.. so I would get a white if I could hahah

 

i like black, which is what i have.

 

Does the White get a Grey looking color in time if it haven't had seriously taken care of?

Does the White also come with leather?

anyways, black is more stylish, and more professional. I brought my black 1640 to class once and the mac-fan-boys were like "wat laptop is that?" with curious eyes like they wanna touch it. FOOL on you macpeople lol

You've just offended all the males with the White one, the males that voted for the White on this thread, the Mac company and their fans and me as I like the White one as well :/

The Black does look nice but it only depends on the person's taste cause I also like the White and Black combo (White from the outside and Black from the inside)

The only reason I'd say the white one would be if finger prints are less visible than on the black model. Otherwise, I'd always say go with a black one (though I personally would consider a darker blue one by the slim chance they ever brought one out XD).

 

I chose red and love it.

I voted white (cause it's what I ordered). The black is very nice looking, but it was a finger print magnet!!! The white is not a finger print magnet (if your hands aren't crazy dirty of course). But I must agree that the silver band goes better with the black. But the silver on white is still good too. Plus, there are a lot more people who own the black, so the white will definitely turn some more heads.

 

I agree. It's not often I see a white on a PC (as we see many on macs)

It's definitely nice to stand apart and be unique =)

I'd vote red if the option existed, like the one I've got. White and Black are both a bit common, and white in particular makes one look like a Mac user, something which no intelligent person would want.

 

there is no white sxps 16, its just a black one wearing a white hat.

 

I think it'd be neat to have an all-white SXPS 16. I wouldn't feel like I have a mac; instead, I'd feel like I'd have something superior to a mac. =) It's kinda like using something against itself =P

Since its been a while, how are the white ones holding up, particularly the leather? Can you keep it clean?

mine white laptop is holding up pretty well.. thats because im always cleaning it up. the only thing i can complain about is the keyboard handwaist rest, its leaving finger prints all over

 

cant belive it, but i think white looks better.

I have white, (I've also had a black 1640) The fingerprints are non existant on the white however I'm still afraid that the white leather is going to stain.

Black! Tired of seing all these white macbooks at my college. 90% of them are owned by women. So i'm going with a man's laptop color

I almost got mine in red, but switched the order to white at the last moment.

I've never seen one in real life, but all the pictures of the ones in red looked like the color was an outdated, dull burgundy. If it showed a bright, true red, I would have totally went for it. I wish they didn't choose such a boring shade of red. However, again, I've only seen pictures, so it might look totally different in real life.

In any case, I totally love my white lappy!

 

I have the White and I love it.
It shows less fingerprints. I was worried the white leather would be hard to keep clean but after 2 months I havent had a problem.
Only wish the rest of it was white too.

 

I have a black one so voted for that, I actually think they all look great, but I wasn't brave enough to pick a red one, and knew the white one would get dirty in my hands!

If the red finish had black leather, I would have ordered that. The red leather doesn't look the part IMHO.

 

I have the black one. It looks really sharp but as everyone has probably said, it smudges like crazy. I have a white iphone and that seems to do pretty well in the "looking clean" department. Thus, I voted white

I got the black. I too think it looks classiest. make sure you have a microfiber cloth all the time though.
