rbg08 already took into account the discount. The new M1330 (he said) will start a $100 CAD more than the current (discounted) M1210 their. That means we could easily see a base US price of only $100 or so more than the current M1210. I'm guessing no more than $1200, absolute max, for the base of the M1330.

Its up on dell.ca now; THERE IS NO CHARGE TO GO TO THE LED SCREEN :D :D :D :D :D (as of now; it might be a glitch) and the 8400M is only $100. Remember, that is in Canadian dollars. If the prices don't change, and go a bit lower when it comes to the US market, I will definitely buy this.

I said $1700, and I see I was right! I've got a 1210 coming for about $1100 less than the 1330, and I'm sure glad!

It's higher in the U.S. market, even accounting for exchange rate. Seriously, somethings gotta be wrong with one of the two sites, there's no way they'd charge that much more in the U.S.

I think Dell is having technical problems currently. I'll agree if its the same price tomorrow morning.

Vivek is correct, there's some major price discrepancy for example a 3 year warranty costs 245 less than a 1 year warranty!

Ok, the price has been lowered on both sites, and the options fixed: $1299 for the American site, and $1399 for the Canadian site. However, equipped with the T7100 and 2GB memory, its 1549USD on the US site, and 1449CAD (~1350USD) on the Ca site. I sense problems.....

Canada still doesn't have the LED screen, so I can't compare prices with fully equipped computers, but with the 8400M card and a T7300, it comes out to 1628CAD(1520USD) vs 1724USD. Does anyone know why the Canadian models are so much cheaper?
