My Cdn M1330 shipped?

Mine shipped on Friday but I'm hoping the American portion was finished during the civic holiday today! lol

Then again, it's been shipped to an address I won't be back to until Friday anyway. Why must they torment me?

My order just left the carrier center and will arrive sometime today!! I'm getting my M1330 today!!

 

Can I ask....did you go directly from 'in production' to shipping info?

And also...did your status change just now when you wrote???

 

Still sitting in production, despite the fact that I ordered like 3 weeks before some of these people getting theirs... *sigh*

Mine says that too!!!! Its been like that since the 2nd!

 

This just means that Dell has just shipped your laptop to the US processing site. Once it is processed and shipped to toronto, your status should change with a new column "depot" stating which depot in Canada your laptop is being processed.

 

Yes it is very amazing. I was checking on the morning of August 1st at 7:30 am and its status was still " in production" and then by the time 9:45 am came, it went right into shipped.

 

Well it takes 2 business days for them to process it. So maybe your order will be shipped to canada today.

 

hummm, i understand that it does not update till its in canada, but its the 7th now, and it usually ships faster then that. I guess the holiday and the weekend really messed things up.

 

Did anyone else receive a call saying they were upgraded to next business day shipping, when in reality they were not?

 

This is what mine says as well, it was shipped Aug. 1 as per Dell website so I am hoping it will get here this week.

I ordered mine the same day as you but you must be in the east, I am in Sk. so I don't expect mine until the end of the week, things move slow in the prairies but at least it is earlier than the Sept. 7 the original ship date.

BTW, i rember a few years ago when they were teaching CS100 (Windows) on Macs. They were teaching the theroy on windows, using windows text books, and in the lab were macs!!!!! I was sooooo mad

 

ditto! same issue with bluetooth - reordered the 24th, shipped the 2nd of August, Arrived in Canada (Toronto) today per purolator, should arrive in Ottawa for thursday.

anyone know where these are shipping from? according to my calculations it is about 5 days by land from the border, so - chile?

So aproximately how long does it stay at the USA Ground Linehaul depot? I'm hoping to receive it this week, but it was shipped out yesterday and now purolator today gives me the USA Ground Linehaul status.

The Dell rep that I have been dealing with emailed me today and said it would delivered this Friday or Monday.

Thought I'd bug Purolator and they said next Tuesday.

arghh! i hate this. Mine wont be in ottawa until tomorow (or late tonight). Its been sitting in Toronto since 1:30 yesterday.

 

Can all who receive their systems PLEASE include the details and order date along with any earlier cancellations and reorders in their post?

Many are trying to get answers from Dell as to why they havent received their system yet and this information is vital.

To those who want to address Dell as to why a system with the same specs comes before yours, you can sent the website and blogname of the person as Dell monitors this site.

Further...can you also post any special circumstances that led to you buying your system such as Dell Mystery Coupon Daze purchase, EPP, Education etc...

There appears to be people ordering later and receiving their systems sooner when many of us are told of lead times for things that they have on their computer...which is wrong.

I then go on vacation for 2 weeks. When I return, my order status number is not being accepted. System shows order has dissappeared. I panic and Call dell.

Explanation given is that there is a problem with the Internal Bluetooth module that is delaying the order (still no explanation for the order number not coming up) I agree to knock off the bluetooth card and rep knocked off an extra $50 plus the cost of the bluetooth card. (yay?)

I have received mine yesterday. Sorry, I am typing this reply on my IBM workstation though I said my next post would me on my machine. It took me a while to setup my notebook to my preference.

I got the LED screen!!! but I don't have the media remote but should it be included?

 

this is what I hope is my final post in this thread.

The laptop was "attempted to be delivered" at my house today, i will go pick it up from the purolator depot on the way home from work.

The total time from order to delivery is 37 Days. Not bad, but not great.
The total time from reorder to delivery was 16 Days. Much more respectable.

this leads me to believe that reorders are getting pushed ahead in the queue (sp?)

BTW, the estimated arrival date according to dell both online and by phone still reads September 7th.

 

I had the same problem with my initial order but eventually I received my notebook with the bluetooth installed (though I haven't tested it yet).

I looked through the owner's manual and the bluetooth module is installed behind the speaker bezel so it is not that easy to install if it were a slot on the back of the notebook.

I received my Dell M1330 Today

It was ordered July 23rd, and estimated shipping date when it was ordered was set at September 3rd.

Screen is LED, fingerprint reader, 2GB Ram... and I think they accidentally gave me a remote which I didn't order.

Still waiting on the accessories though which were supposed to come before the laptop

 

My order just showed up in Calgary at 2 PM today. So it was at the USA Ground Linehaul depot for 2 days. Now I'm crossing my fingers it will show up tomorrow. If not, not worried. Better than Sept 10th.

 

finally! "Delivery Preparation" should get it by friday at worst (hopefully)

Im gonna believe your system was on the Exec Expedite order as well.

All 3 of mine went into Delivery Prep today.

They will be shipped by tomorrow and you should have it by Weds.

For me, not bad considering 2 of my orders had to be redone again and their order date is 8Aug. They qualify as the fastest completed orders now Im sure.

 

I received mine yesterday morning. Everything is good with it. Except I was going to put xp pro on it but there are no sound or wireless drivers for xp. Getting used to Vista.
