The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Can I ask anyone who has not done so to complete it. It can be a very useful tool for your later dealings with XPS Support on issues.

    At present, only 1 in 5 systems is arriving without issues and only half do not have a squeal to them.

    Yes, it comes with the sleeve. It's not bad, but it adds quite a bit of bulk to the thickness of the package. It will protect against scratches, but since it's not really padded, it won't protect against a 5-foot drop. That's what completecare is for :p

    Best of luck to those of you still waiting! I've had mine for just over a week now but I've been out of town, unable to spend more than a few hours with it. Vista made those few hours very frustrating!
