    The other post that I have seen about the Acer most said they didn't have a noise issue, but if you did there was the option to download a fan control.

    yea im not sure tho because what ive read the nbr home page review says its really noisy but some others said they have little to no noise so im confused.

    Yea, who knows. I just wish dell would hurry up, ever since I saw the Hp 2133 I've been waiting for dell to come out with a netbook.

    Truly, I just wish Dell would set and publish an official release date. I can deal with having to wait another, 2, 3, or even 4 weeks.... I just would like to know how long I will be waiting.

    When I looked at the Acer alongside the Wind I didn't notice any fan noise from either, but there was some background noise in the shop. I really only noticed the clear differences between the machines and anything unexpected so I would expect to notice if it was really bad, but if was a little noisy, perhps not.

    I've seen other comments saying the Acer is noisy and others that it's silent.

    ^^^^^I think I'm starting to *believe in it*...I called Dell EPP late this a-noon inquiring...and he said to look *later this week for further info* and took my contact information to give me a holla' when it's actually available or order!!!. :yes:

    So, I'm going to take that as a *yes*, that it is almost accurate that it's going to be released.....

    I will be soo relieved when I can actually order! WoOT!

    I was checking out the Acer A, the Lenovo, and The Wind...the Mini I, I think is going to be a nice one...and I think there possibly could be some add on's to what we have already seen from the *draft specs* :) Now, that would be a very good thing.
