My e1705 is scheduled for delivery today. My last dell was an Inspiron 6000. I've had an HP in the meantime, and boy was it crap.
-
E1405 for me. Though I made a few mistakes when buying, like getting RAM at 533Mhz when my other hardware supports 667. Also I have integrated graphics

I use a Dell Latitude D600 for work.
-
I have a E1705, still F*** UP with blue screen issue SINCE I first got it, calling Dell for replacement , received the defective device again. I used to have the Inspiron 1100, really enjoyable machine/ also known as my first laptop. That thing does lots of work through out a year I own it. Now, it's too slow to do things, especially when surfing multiple pages of Deviantart. Burn cds no prob. Only slow when surf web . WEird.!!
-
I have an E1705 and it rocks!
-
What the heck!, no choice for my 6 year old Inspiron 2500? haha anyways... E1705 and yeah, they are awesome. Us 17" notebook owners are representing pretty well here.
-
Other:
Inspiron 1000
Wha?... yea thats right a 1000, but it should be replaced by an E1505 hopefully if a good deal comes around soon. -
Me E1705 so far still good!!!
-
My E1705 had some problems but I fixed them with no help from technical support. I like it when it runs right.
-
my E1705 > You
-
mines is in my sig.
-
I was recently a proud owner of an Asus W5a few days ago I switch to a Latitude X1...so sexy!!!
-
Inspiron 1100, yeah! My welfare piece is still going surprisingly strong after 3+ years....except for a corrupt registry error, I've had no major problems. It's heavy, but nothing I can't handle, and surprisingly sturdy. Even the LCD is quite bright and clear, and I still get 45s bootups and 25s from hibernation.
-
I got a XPS M170 Gen 2 - the system is amazing.. I haven't had any problems with it and I've had it for about 6 months.. only downside to it is it's weight and it heats up pretty bad.. other than that its on powerful machine!
-
inspiron e1505 as of now but would like to get a m1210
ucb9999 -

I have a 9400 on the way - should be here by week's end.
My best friend has a 6000 and another friend has a 6400 - both are very happy with them. I am keen to start using my 9400. -
E1505 my first laptop, kind of disappointed me of the 30% coupon because I ordered mine with only a 20% coupon
-
The D820 will be my very first laptop. Was supposed to get here today, but I wasn't home. I'll have it by monday!
-
WOOO! E1705 FOREVER! Haha, just kidding, but I do love it like more than my children (ohh wait, I'm 16, I don't have kids, sometimes I forget, god **** personality disorders).
-
I own an XPS M1210
-
ordered a XPS 1710 will be here soon
-
Have a Inspiron 6000, Latitude 620 and an ancient Inspiron 8200. All of them still work(though the 8200 has had the hard drive replaced and additional RAM)
-
I have a four year old Inspiron 2650 P4 1.7GHz 256MB 16MB Geforce 2Go 30GB that, while incredibly slow is still running on all of its original hardware. But it will be put down soon as I have an E1505 Core 2 Duo 2.0GHZ 2GB 256MB X1400 160GB on the way.
-
I have had the XPS M1210 for about a month. So far it is okay for what I use it for i.e. presentations, class notes, and web browsing. I tried to hold out for the Lenovo X60s with Core 2 duo but I couldn't wait any longer due to school and travel reasons. For my needs I wish I would have just gotten the core duo X60s.
The M1210 is good with some minor negative things that have already been discussed in the reviews. I have to admit that the XPS support is outstanding and almost well worth the extra price of the XPS.
My main gripes for me are the Key stoke noise, fan noise, and battery life (9 Cell). Too loud for class and not long enough battery life for my 4 hour class.
Outside of that it is a great laptop for any other type of environment. -
why isn't the 9cell lasting 4 hours. It seems to me that you're in possession of a defective battery.
wifi off, brightness halfway, you should run 5 hours.
