Post when XPS M1330 ordered and when/if shipped

I thought so too, but a couple of people were responding and getting worried about dead pixels. So I thought I would try to clarify for them.

 

Cliegal, were there really any dead pixels on your machine? How hot is it getting?

 

It's the truth ! How is that negative ? Why do you make back to back post ?

 

It might shave a few days off from shipping... but it won't get through production any faster

I have no idea. I know its a Dell Bluetooth Mouse. I was going to buy it awhile ago on the Dell site, but now I can't find it anymore.

Yeah, I verified by going though the check-out on an M1330, its called the Dell Bluetooth Travel Mouse.

 

Why wouldn't the HDMI pass audio ?

 

There has been some debate on whether HDMI will or will not pass audio. On the past models, it's been video only.

 

The user guide gives instructions on using RCA audio cables with the HDMI for just for video.... Haven't seen anyone actually test it out. Well I only know two people who got their's so far. So, that's not saying much.

i saw a dell cable once which goes into hdmi and have another pin for the headphone jack,

 

The definition in the manual says that HDMI carries audio. I don't know why they would mention it in the manual if it didn't in the production model.

 

Does the LED slim and light seem as slim as we thought it would be? Would be awesome to compare against a different laptop's screen thickness...

I know in review pictures we always said,.. oh that has to be the non-LED... but now... we can actually test it out.

 

Well the manual is inconsistent, in a different part of the manual it explains how to combine HDMI with RCA cables... so.. we cant know for sure. The definition might just be copied from somewhere else.

dn4, I was looking at your sig...how did you get those specs at only $$1417?! When I configure those same specs at the Dell Site it comes out to be almost $2000. Since my budget is around $1400 I was very disappointed that I couldn't get the m1330 with the specs I wanted, but who knows, maybe you have the answer (or probably just a different currency?)

Answer is Drake. I remember him posting on the Drake discussion way back in the day. I think you call and remove accessories to reduce the price as well.. Like the free printer that came with Drake.
