Post when XPS M1330 ordered and when/if shipped

I got this info from the 2 ppl that said it was confirmed from the Dell CSRs a couple pages back from my original post. And as for my shipping date, there seems to be no consistency. When I configured my m1330 the wizard said it would ship on the 27th, yet when the order was placed (at 3pm EST on the 26th) the confirmation email (and subsequent order status page) had a ship date of the 31st. Needless to say, I was upset.

yeah i got a helluva deal, actually with the warrenty i got,and taxes + shipping its more like $2500 configured through dell home

 

I want even dare post my specs and price

When my brother gets his m1330 and I get my MBP, we'll compare each other's systems.

My brother's m1330 was ordered on July 6th, and is slated for shipment August 8th. He didn't get the LED screen though...

d94, you are a ray of hope. hehe. I had thought only those who ordered in june (and had made it past the random cancellations... unlike me) were the ones that were getting theirs boxed and shipped. My order was re-placed 3 days after yours (and i have the same specs sans the 9-cell), so i might be one your same boat... or something. Hopefully your not in boxing for 2 weeks.

It wasn't the Drake deal but another University that had a 4 year CC warranty

 

Either way...linux sucks! lol I can't get Ubuntu to find any wireless connections with my E1705 and no one on any linux forum has been able to help me.

I thought that they replaced them with a Refurb model. How did you get a new one ?

Why would they give a brand new warranty for an additional 3 years on the replacement?

I had 2 replacement M1210's before this M1330 replacement, each came with a new warranty, in the uk a new order is raised (like its a new sale) for a replacement system.

p.s I didnt have complete care

Choose two random dates... and flip a coin... thats our best guess. We have no idea what is going on anymore. One person who ordered two weeks ago got theirs ... but people who ordered a MONTH ago still haven't gotten theirs. At this point, today is the first day people (on this forum) have gotten an m1330.

They don't know....... They are guessing. Good luck. If you are in a time bind, check out the HP Verve at Best Buy. Its decent, and in stock.

 

I've seen that HP Verve... very sexy but very fingerprint prone. It's also too thick for my tastes... it seems like a decent laptop though.

 

its a big hoax... the m1330 is a myth!

 

That would cause Dell to loose all respect from everyone.... I doubt that. Then again, anything is possible!

My M1330 has been in Boxing stage since last Friday and hasn't change.
