MAYBE I just ordered it   -
Im on the buy screen... but what's the battery life?/?
-
-
-
I think I'll wait for more colors or when its added to EPP site or coupons or wait for Ideapad in October
-
Decisions, decisions... I'm a bit worried about battery life, only option seems to be the 4 cell
-
Boy wow. I hope there are some serious coupons on this.
At those price points, Dell is offering less than it's competitors. These prices are prices for what you get.
Wake up Dell, you're late to the game so come out swinging...$349 for Ubuntu, 512 and a 4 gig SSD? 4 gigs...really? The linux version of the Aspire One is coming in at 1 gig and 8 gig SSD and is MSRP at $299 to boot (although vendors are still dragging their feet on getting to that price). At these low prices, a difference of $50 bucks is HUGE! Heck, for $349, you could opt for the Windows XP version of the One which also includes a 120 gig hard drive and 1 gig of ram.
Severely disappointed. Darn, and I had my gift card ready to spend. -
1 GB
Ubuntu
16 GB SSD
1.3MP camera
about $500
... sorry for the jumpy posts... trying to decide to buy or not -
I am really dissapointed no red....I mean thats the main color they were featuring everywhere....sad. sad. sad.
At least, it's out.... -
Are you sure you want to pay that much for that??? Are you not getting any warranties?
It's ok...I think we all are a bit jumpy right now.....
need those coupon codes....... -
-
-
Does the Lenovo have the small right shift key? That and battery life are the only things I am worried about. -
-
Wait. This is an initial release and Dell, unequivocally will have some sort of coupon that will hit the Hot Deal type website or instant savings or some other deal that will involve this system sooner rather than later.
I've purchased over 10 Dell machines but only one Dell when it first came out, the Inspiron 9300. I immediately regretted it when a few weeks later there was a 30% off Inspiron coupon that hit the deal site that would have saved me hundreds.
I know, normally, the cliche is to buy a piece of technology when you need it but in this case and specifically with how often and easy Dell hands coupons and % off etc, I would never, EVER buy a newly released Dell without said coupons in hand ESPECIALLY in light of the fact that at these prices, there are similar machines that completely trounce Dell's offering. -
Hmm... looks like the XP version is cheaper than Linux????

....I was like really, really hyped up...and now...well, yeah....I think your correct I should wait.......
I just can't believe they promoted with the *red* color soo much and release it with only 2 color choices......
I know, I know you guy's are thinking ~ the color shouldn't matter it's whats on the inside...
But, it matters to me....I'm a girl...and I wanted/want that *sleek, sexy red* Mini 9 -

Is it just me or can you not purchase these? I get through the process and then it tells me that I can add it to my wishlist, but it doesn't give me the option to purchase? Oh well, this may be the straw that breaks my back. I really thought they were going to come through with the $299 price to match Acer, I guess not. And now, I can't even seem to buy the **** thing! Oh well....
-
Gotta represent!
-
NO longer exists...... -
I can still get to the page to configure it. I guess I'll try in the morning and see what happens.
-
-
Well, I'm going to sleep on it. I will need to check the configurations in the morning and get in contact with my Dell insider. I don't know though... if my local BestBuy has an Aspire One in stock... it may be over.
-
yeah......
Well we will all meet up here tomorrow, for sure and you can let us know what you did......

Good thing i'm not in a rush to get one... -
right after I got mine the XPS 1530 came out then the Alienware m15x ... still a little bitter, but I love my PICKLES (my computers name)
I would've have an Alienware M9750 if I would've known about all the mini pcs coming this year
But my next one in two years will be awesome and shiny and yes awesome -
