hey there crew just installed 64 bit on my 1530 and everything is working great......about to do the tweaking guide......hows everyone doin?

 

Im pretty good went for a run earlier it was super hot.....but yeah installed 64 bit, upgrades bios to a09 (helps a lot!!!!) and now im just finishing some tweaks......my laptop is gonna be a rocketship

pretty good put 64 bit on my 1530 today and upgraded bios which helped a ton I was surprised hbu? you just get that 2nd green box????

 

Chillin' on my Desktop letting my 1530 burn in a bit. Just put some Arctic Silver 5 on the CPU and GPU, and I'm going to go outside to the garage to check out the temperatures soon.

Hopefully everything is as smooth as gravy

 

pretty good got my lcd replaced today and dell is sending me 60 bux of stuff for free.....so overall good.....have fun at the gym!!!

Yeah I know that sucks... and I still havent made a decision yet. Hopefully we'll get a centrino 2 refresh some time in august...

 

Doubt it since the linux version of the M1530 is coming out in August. I'd say you won't see anything until September - October time period for sure.

 

They won't take that long to get Centrino 2 out. They'll be behind everyone and putting the crappy nVidia chips in them.

 

They are already the last ones to even leak. lol.

 

I don't know, I don't see how the linux version should have any influence on the hardware that's being used in the 1530 but who knows?

 

Shoot forget leaking, everyone else is official.

My day is going great! I just got the full refund for my m1530 which I returned so i'm pretty happy about that. Right now I'm trying to decide whether i should buy a new laptop soon since dell still hasnt updated their lineup.

Hey team, big news! I just pulled the trigger... on a Vaio FW. I found a good coupon that I just couldn't resist especially since I dont doubt that Dell will update their lineup anytime soon. Well Dell, you can't say that I haven't been patient. I got the following system for $999 CDN:

The FW is my backup choice. It looks good except the GPU is a bit on the low side. I am going to wait to see what Dell offers before I make a choice. That is, if I can wait.

 

LOL, yeah I would have waited except that I couldn't pass up this deal and the GPU is adequate for me, I don't plan on gaming a whole lot in the future.

 

I am sure it would be sufficient for playing TF2 which is the only game I am concerned with playing. But, I have time to wait and see what Dell offers but if nothing or no rumors by the end of August I'll probably snag the Vaio.

Im suprised I require sleep at all TBH. I have worked a 10+ hour day with 0 sleep, if I got 6 hours of good sleep I think Id feel groggy and tired when I woke up.

As for team dell I might have to join, but then again I may be out of the dell soon if this infamous Gateway FX comes to BB.

Hey Cin! I'm doing pretty well this morning, it's nice that I can finally stop researching new laptops, i felt like i was going insane A nice walk in the morning is always nice too.

 

I do like the dell community, aside from certain people trying to sabotage their 8xxx cards for warranty replacements. But as for leaving the dell community it all comes down to whether I gate a t2500z tablet to replace my 12in when it dies or sell the dell and get the FX gaming machine and keep my old 12in. Either way Ill grab a sig tag?

 

Welcome to the team! You don't have to leave the team just because you're getting a different laptop. I've ordered a vaio fw and i'm definitely not planning on leaving this team
