Me, I'm still very giddy also, with my 1530! But I'm craving a Netbook...unfortunately I have to put that on hold for just a bit! My bro' just got one from the Outlet..so I can play with it at will!

That's the nice thing with notebooks and desktops..there are many options out there!

The refreshes..nothing *solid* yet...just *bits and pieces* of info!

Not that the refeash will effect me, just sorta wondering. As for loving laptops I do love mine, and if I want super battery life and a small footprint I have the HP. Granted its bigger then a netbook but its still small. Personally I think my next setup will be a netbook and a gaming 17in with a desktop processor. I love the 17in platform and rarely ever do I do battery operation. But then again heres to my hp lasting as long as my beloved averatec.

Me, I have certain things I want in my next Dell...And as a consumer, I think we should all individually, get what we really want when configuring a notebook or desktop ~ as it's our $$ being put into it, and our own usage!!

So what's it to me? How much would I pay for the XT2?..If it has good price points/config.. and was what I was looking for, I would probably invest the money in it!

Maybe, all the new models will be released at once! One, can wish.

Netbooks are a great choice. I'm using an HP tz2500 right now as my primary. There is about 1000% difference between a 12" and a 14". I can only imagine how estatic I would be if I could shrink this thing even further.

I think they are too..A nice compliment to your lappy, and great for when out and about, and such

How far would you want to shrink that down? What would your ultimate Dell size be? I think the netbook for me...would prob's be the 10"

I haven't typed on a 10" or 11" yet. The 12s" aren't bad. The only real pain in the rear is that the page up/down buttons and the end/home buttons are in nonstandard places, which drives me up the wall. Otherwise, touchtypists will do fine.

I'm just waiting for Dell to shrink the batteries. In the past two years, the laptop industry hasn't seen this much progress ever. Yet the batteries haven't seen a breakthrough since the introduction of Lithium.

 

Great group, mind if I join? The Latitude D630 owners thread has been pretty much dried up for weeks now. Guess everyone moved on to the E-series, LOL

Yeah..The 10" on some of the Netbooks looks good...! I bet there are alot of Touch Typists with the Netbooks!

There is a limit as to how many characters you can put in your signature, but other wise you should be able to get two in there.

 

I meant the pic in my signature,i dont think we can insert two of them there although ive seen some of the members with two of them(the pics)

 

You should be able to as long as you don't exceed the allotted Maxium Size of your image.

Just go into your Edit Signature: and try it like this:




Try and layer on top of the other as I just did above with the , at the end (for each image)
You will want to layer them like that in your User Profile, under Edit Signature!
The above is an example.
