LOL! Yah that is how I feel. DELL is just "kidding" when they say it will be shipped on time!

Nope, DHL does not ship on weekends.

 

Well, my laptop shipped today! I wish DHL shipped on the weekend, that means I'm going to have to wait until Monday or Tuesday Good news is at least I'll get it with enough time to play on it for awhile!!! Best news is that it actually shipped without any delays!

 

I hit boxing today! So maybe I will actually get it on Tuesday...

Yey, I just called the auto-mated Dell line and it says it's in the hand of the carrier now and should be shipped within the next business day....woohoo!!

 

has anybody here ordered a dell m90 precision? and expects it to ship this month? does anyone know how long is the build time on these?

 

AHHHHHHHHH!!! I just called the Automated number and its finally in BOXING STAGE!!!!! I dont know for how long though...because I forced myself to stop calling the number...and I finally give into my withdrawls. lol! I was so happy I jumped up off my bad and cracked my head on the ceiling light fixture!

 

I'm guessing the automated line doesn't work for Canadian customer? cause it said mine shipped august 27th.....and get this, thats not even the worst part. August 27th 1998? BAHAHA first time i heard it, i was like YES its shipped...then it went on to say when it shipped and i just started laughing.

 

No, for some reason it only works in the US. Canadians dont get a number to call thats automated. Stupid if you ask me. I may be american....but I still love canada!

and I just milked $50 out of them last night!

 

I still have no tracking number :'( or real ESD (just mumbo jumbo "yes it will arrive by the 21st, sir)

No one else here seems to have bought a 1710 (wise, wise since the 1730 is out soon..) for me to compare delivery dates.

 

requested replacement on 9/8. estimated ship date for replacement 9/14, estimated delivery 9/17. Hopefully the new one won't have any issues.

DHL says it should be here tomorrow at 3PM and I've NEVER had a bad experience with DHL (the best delivery company IMHO) so I'm quite excited

I received my Inspiron 1520 (Midnight Blue) Yesterday! I am currently posting this on it and I will tell you it is gorgeous. The screen is amazing, the sound works very well and sounds very clear. Excellent laptop and well worth the wait!!!

The blue on the lid is very dark and looks black when you see it from the side. It's quite rich and very pretty

 

Ordered by phone from Dell Latin America (but having it shipped to the US) on 8/28, went into building immediately, and it went into testing this morning.

If testing and boxing only last a few days each, it looks like it might actually ship on the ESD (9/20).

Edit: The rep actually said that the order would take around 6 weeks to ship, despite the ESD of Sept. 20 which I pointed out to him. I hope this isn't a mistake!

 

Got mine yesterday. I was waiting for it all morning and I didn't get it until 2:30! The wait was agony, but it's all over now.

 

Unfortunaly im moving to the october thread! hope the rest of u guys get urs this month!
