    I have a ESD of 9/11 tomorrow, but mine shipped out early this morning. By 9am, it was shipped. I have the 3-5 day delivery, but so I'm hoping sometime this week. : )

    ZERO DELAYS. They really should have told you guys from the start 6-8 weeks. You know you would have waited for it, because there aren't many better ones out there. It's been brutal to wait 5 weeks, but I am sure it will be worth it. I saw a blue 1720 at the mall Saturday and it looked nice. I was like "so that is what my computer looks like..."

    One complaint: my sound card is on a seperate order, and it's not in stock, therefore not shipping with my PC. I'm likely going to just cancel it since I can buy one of those at Best Buy and just slide it in the side. Not a huge deal.

    Dell is doing the right thing telling the guys who order one today that it takes a long time. Yes, it really stinks, but hey, if you want it, I guess you will just have to pay that price or get one somewhere else-if you can.

    Hope you guys waiting all get yours very soon. Continuing with the good karma, I'm thinking my screen will be sweet and it will work great. : )

    I got an email saying my order was delayed until the 20th, but it actually shipped today.Not sure how long it takes to get tracking information though.

    update: ya i just chcked and my package is in toronto! :D which is a just a 30 minute drive south to where i live. its in sorting or w/e it is, i wonder how long it will take?? hopefully they will sort it quick and ship it over tomorrow :D

    I got delayed to 9/17 then to 10/15 later in the day. I don't know who to believe. I went to the dell website and built another computer with the same specs as mine and the ESD was 10/15. I don't even know how to explain that one. That just shows you they're handing out wrong ESDs from the start.

    It is hard to gauge I think... They can only guess with the ESDs so it is a hit or miss sometimes... I shipped exactly on the ESD so they got it 100% right here...
