I ordered my 1530 on 4/16 and just got it fri. After the 3rd delay I decided to call dell. After talking to customer service and being very friendly funny thing is the next day I got my ship conformation and it arrived 2 days later. The build is sold I can't see anything wrong with any part of it which after reading some of the posts here I was concerned. The only complaint I have is my 8300 runs hot compared to my 8300 mac. I also like the 2 finger scrolling in the touch pad on the mac. other than that Im running CoD4 1400x900 everything on high 2x aa the slider mid way af. I havent done thebloatware removal but did tweak and run 2 registry cleaners.

Update: Delivered on the 21st. Screen is horrible (part number RW985). My neighbor's Toshiba has a better screen.

After close to three hours on the phone a tech is coming to replace the screen.

Ordered mine on the 30th, received May 21 with the DW306 screen. Great LCD, but got the keyboard hump and uneven base.

Just got an LG xk309 installed. The difference is huge - definately worth the three hours on the phone. My impression is that the chat guys and first line tech support can no longer replace Samsung screens with LG screens.

It is not until you talk to them about returning the computer that they will actually do anything.

Had mine for about a week and love it.

    COD4 @ 1440x900 mostly high settings and 2x AA.
    Bioshock @ 1440x900 high settings w/o DX10 stuff.
Sins of a Solar Empire @ 1440x900 everything maxed.

Everything looks glorious on the LED.
