4278 on a 7900gs w/slght overclock of 430/1100

nice score!

God I don't want to know whats going to happen with My Geforce Go 7400. If my laptop doesn't combust and burn my house down, I'll post back in the next day or two with a score.
#
My 7400 is at stock, has anyone oc'd a 7400? The thing that bothers me is that its always really hot, as much as mid fifties when idle, and into the high sixties when under load. Don't want to think about an overclock in those conditions. Notebook cooler might help I suppose... -
I got 1718 in 3DMark'06 on 7600GT with 3.4Ghz HT and 1.5Gb ram - good or bad?
-
Anyone ever looked at the Tom's Hardware 3dmark06 charts? What is it about their setup that makes a 7950GX2 score roughly the same as I see from a Go 7900GS?
-
?
-
Dell e1705 core duo 1.73 ghz 1gig ram nvidia 7900gs go oc to 575-1150. 5140 3dmark06 score. Runs stable and acceptable temps i'm gonna leave it oc'ed.
ps how do you read the 3dmark score box if you use save as option it saves in some wierd format my comp cant read? -
I got 2112 in 3dmark 06
My specs are:
Merom T7400 2.16
256 mb (512 hyper) ati x1600
2 mb ram
I figure thats not too bad ... anyone else with a similar setup? -
I am not sure, but I think that score is a little too low for a X1600.
-
No...actually that would be low if it were a 3dMark05 score. 3dMark06 is HARD on a laptop right now.
I think my (underclocked) laptop GPU scored around 1750 last I checked. -
I have a Z96Js with the same config. With a 7200 rpm HDD and 2 GB RAM @ 667 Mhz
I had to send it back to the seller because the Hitachi HDD was making too much noise and driving me nuts. But I will run a 3DMark once I get it back -
Yeh the acer 8204(which is well clocked gets 4200 in 05) scores about 2000 so 2100 is pretty good for a x1600.
-
I get around 4200 in 3d mark 05. That was with the old drivers...I just installed the latest Omega drivers and I now get 4388 in 3dmark 05

I get a terrible score of 777 on 3DMark06 on my Geforce Go 7400, what am I doing wrong? :/

I ran 3dmark 06 and got 2214.
Setup:
Asus W3j merom T7400 2.16 ghz
2 gigs ram
X1600 256 -
I have seen a few x1400 and x1600 stats, Im wondering if anyone can post their stats for Ati X1800 laptop, On 3Dmarks06?

Going a tad off topic...
Chaz, you're saying that if it isn't 1280x1024, it goes to a lower resolution and the final result is off?
Is this the same for 3dmark05?
Would using a dual monitor setup and using a monitor that supports a higher resolution fix this? -
If your screen isnt large enough to support 1280x1024 it will go down to 1024x768. 3DMark05 doesnt do this since it defaults to 1024x768.
If you use a dual monitor setup it will subtract from your 3DMark scores somewhat since part of the video power is running an extra monitor instead of going twoard the test. -
3dmark06 scales down to 1280x800 for me. So I don't know how well anyone can judge anything from 3dmark06...
What really gets me is that 3DMark06 is so close to 3DMark05, except with the addition of a few textures and lights. It's almost as if the guys at Futuremark are getting lazy. Look at the difference between 3DMark01, 03 and 05, and it's great. Soon as you hit 06 though, they're recycling things like never before -
Does this look normal?
I got 1965 with drivers set to "medium", no optimizations for speed. -

Getting lousy 3006 points in 3d mark '06 with stock clocks, using cata 6.9 and newest video bios
Having troubles overclocking when having to use both battery and ac...
-
Why are you complaining? Thats a good score.
Never try overclocking on battery. Only overclock when you're plugged in and already in full power mode. -
-
Just sad, that i cant have the Ati spec clocks running, with out all that freaking troubles... Would like to see, that it would be able to run ati standarts (450 mhz core, 1000 mhz mem) with out having to alter the setup when going to battery
-
my 06 scores are in my sig
3096 overclocked. all the bloatware still running.
Intersting that my score beats m3zs but there is an anti ati card bias in the test.
the 7700 cant keep up with the x1800 I know that. -

I've not tried my laptop, it'd probably be dire with my Go7400. Desktop though I get 5215.

Was just playing around on my friends toshiba satellite (7600go 256mb ddr2):
stock drivers/stock clocks (450/350): 3250 (give or take 10)
x-tremeG forceware 97.44 (525/450): 4300 (give or take 10)
max clocks (just for reference i didn't feel like benching them at ..didn't want to lock comp)(530 core / 460 mem)
edit: oh wait i was using 3dmark05 -
After cleaning and turning everything off:
3dmark06: 6001 (if I remember correctly - someone tell me how to screen capture scores). Stock all. 3dmark05 between 10,200 and 10,881 in repeated tests.
Clevo m590k (i.e.MaLX, Sager etc) single core Turion 2.4ghz, 100gb hdd 7200rpm, 2x512 7900gtx SLI, 19". Don't ask about cpu score (<1000!). Waiting to hear once Sager dude with dual core version & dual 7950's optimizes and blows you all away (~6500 in his review - front page). -

stock settings - setting everything to max performance actually gave me 0% change in scores.
3d06 64-6500 range
3d05 9300 range kind of odd i think with such good 3d06 scores- i think this is mostly due to the limits of the tl-56 processor -
in sig are my scores eh
