    9800mGTS on TF2 - low FPS?

    Yeah TF2 is more CPU bound. I dunno if you can handle that much AA though on that resolution

    yeah you should try to turn up all the gpu heavy stuff to take as much off the cpu as you can. i gett better frame rates at 16q CSAA than 2xAA but my max res is much lower.

    His game is not CPU limited. Running it at 2xAA is the problem.

    nope 2xaa in tf2 is nothing for a 9880m gts.

    It's possible he's CPU limited during extremely heavy firefights on a large server, but the 2xAA likely isn't helping.

    Even my 8600M GT can handle 4xAA at 1440x900 resolution.

    well i oc'd my CPU today from 2.1ghz to 2.4ghz xD and to my surprise it didnt help at all -___-, i even checked CPUZ and it says that im running at 2400mhz. btw im using setFSB (found a way to use it now =D) but whats suprsing to me is SplinterVisions post a few pages earlier, he has a 2.5ghz processor and has a locked fps of 60 on his sager np5793
