Avp Demo Is Out On Steam!!

I played as an alien ... died about 25 times, got only one kill. To put this into perspective, those are exactly the opposite results when I play as a pred. lol. I get headache after 20sec of walking upside down. I just can't do it.

 

What are the keyboard controls,on the xbox its easy,but on the pc what is the sprint key?Or block,or meele,Otherwise hellva game i still play avp2 scares the heck out of me

 

This is how I view the races in order of my personal favorites:

Marines: Scary as hell to play with, but can dominate the others with certain moves... such as melee when either alien gets close then shoot them in the face, repeat as necessary...or grenades, they work best in almost any situation...I already consider the auto targeting gun a b!tch tool, and consider yourself dead if they get close

Aliens: By far the hardest to maneuver especially with the auto setting on... I actually get most kills with them due to how agile they are and it is easy to get behind you opponent and press "E" when you get used to the controls... They also have my favorite special kill animation such as the famous face bite...

Predators: Hardest class to figure out how to use your damn weapons... took me a while to get used to them, but are fun to run around with a cloak and rip some limbs/spines off the other races... I dont know how to use it, but the blade seems like an amazing weapon...

The demo gets more fun and interesting the more I play it, I am def considering getting this game

 

Yeah, I'm getting this game for sure, it's a blast.

I'm loving the Aliens, I can pretty much kill everything except Predators face to face. Still working on that...

 

I downloaded this yesterday, it was fun, but only the multiplayer demo.

I would have liked the single player demo.

 

learn how to block and they will no longer be an issue, sneaking up on them is your first priority...

 

I`m starting to like it. Now that the Pred is a death machine, not much can withstand it...

 

People are complaining about the graphics in AvP. I do think they're a bit dated, but I still think it doesn't look any worse than Left 4 Dead. But I would think they would be improved.

 

The country Im in for a vacation only has 128 KBPS so can't play this demo.

 

What are you guys anticipating more from this game?the multiplayer or the single player component?

 

single!! lol, when was the last time I played a good SP AVP game? lol ... miss that a looot.

 

I CANNOT BELIEVE HOW low gameinformer graded AvP!!! I mean really, 5.75!?!!?! I hope this is just for the consoles since they sometimes do separate reviews for pc games and it didn't say pc it just says PS3 and 360.

I've always been happy with reviews from gameinformer, but this , i just CANT believe.
IGN UK gave this game 8.5, which i think this game deserves.(going by the demo)

Looks bloody great! Can't wait to get stuck into the multiplayer.

 

I don't see what you guys see in this game. Played the demo for 15 minutes and uninstalled. Doesn't look like it brings anything new to the table, just another shooter like fear or doom.

 

I just like the concept of 3 totally different species fighting each other

 

wow first post in got to be over 5months

i have played the demo on PS3, loved it
but havent yet decided what to get it on either PS3 or PC
i will get it on PC IF the requirements arent too high AND if its moddable

 

man, I downloaded the demo last night, and I have got to say that this game is really awesome! It looks great, plays great, and the controls feel really good to me. I've been playing mostly as an Alien, and the whole wall transitioning thing is kicka**! Ambushes have never been so much fun!
