    Has anyone else had the BC2 freeze sound loop problem, where the game freezes and the last sound keeps looping. You can't alt-tab out of it, you cant bring up task manager ... the whole PC is just frozen. I have to do a hard shutdown just to stop it. It usually happens about 15-20 minutes into playing multiplayer. It never fails to happen, and like clockwork, it always happens in the 15-20 minutes window.

    I have tried many possible solutions, none of which worked. Any suggestions are much appreciated, I would like to play this game for more than 15-20 minutes at a time.

    Also, this only started to happen after i got my M17x-R3, before I never had it happen to me, maybe its just coincidence. Anyone else that plays BC2 and has a similarly configured R3 can share their experience, would be great.

    I have had that happen to me as well. It is something with the audio drivers that is causing that issue. Maybe try updating it?

    Yea, I've tried all kinds of stuff with the audio drivers: updating them, using default drivers, disabling all audio... In the end nothing helps and it always freezes 15-20 mins in.

    Thanks anyway. Hopefully someone with the same laptop as me, chimes in here.

    Nope, I haven't tried that yet, but I don't think it would help either. Reason I say this is because I've tried the game in all three modes (DX 9, 10, 11) and it still freezes. I'll try that anyway, just for the sake of trying.

    So I figured out what the problem was, apparently, as long as I had the Sapphire Trixx GPU utility open in the background, it would lock-up after about 15-20 mins. I never thought that would be the issue, I found out because I re-installed the OS in an effort to find out what the problem was. Played the game before and after installing the Trixx utility and it locked-up only when I played with the utility running.
