Bad Company 2 Server Disconnect

I have problems with BC2 keeps disconnecting from the server. My punkbuster is up to date as is the game.
It says 'Lost connection with server, please check you network connection'
All ports are forwarded. I have done a search and found others with this problem but I didn't find a fix. If anyone knows anything i would greatly appreciate it.

 

I've been having the same problem, on the PS3 and PC versions. I'm not sure if it just my network (it has done this before repeatedly) or if BC2's servers are problematic.

 

so does no one know a fix for this?

 

Only EA has the fix for this... All my friends and I get the same problems on PC. Its the fantastic netcode they have.

 

EA could be having some issues today....bleh.

and the knife is so broken. i actually have a video of me standing behind someone knifing them continuously and they WON'T DIE

 

I just shoot people from close range, there's no point to using the knife since the last update

 

looks like to me BC2 is a bigger fail than MW2...

Ugh, don't even get me started on the knife.

I love the game, and find little wrong with it, but why in the hell did they make the knife so slow?

I mean, I don't want some MW2 commando BS, but at least make it fast enough so if you turn a tight corner, and run into a guy, you can knife him and kill him instead of being the one who pulled the trigger first.

 

Yeah, kinda crazy how someone can raise their rifle and shoot you before you can knife someone. It was kinda funny. Someone killed me, in the killcam, I saw a friendly going to knife that guy and knifed him like five times before he turned around and shot him.

 

Well lets look at it this way, if you round a corner run into a guy with a gun out, wearing full military grade battle armor and you've got your kbar or variant out, do you really expect your knife is gonna do much? At best youve got one vital area to go for before he shoots you and that would be the face/neck. And even then he's prob gonna be able to shoot you before he loses complete control of himself.

Now perhaps a system where a knife works more effectively from behind would be great.

 

I dunno, I get knifed from the front all the time.

i <3 the knife. it's my best weapon according to stats, i have 43% of my kills with it XD but it would be so many more if it wasn't bugged. wait til an update comes to fix it, then i'll have ALL YER DOG TAGS
