That's good, but why were you saying before that you were having problems with the game being laggy - what's changed?

I just rebooted the system after the install, I loaded an already started game.. May be it's buggy at the beginning sequence..

Any update on the game? Have recent fixes actually made it playable at 1080p @60 FPS on High with a 390/970?

I think it plays fine as long as you turn off gameworks. That just destroys FPS.

Gameworks should be called Turdworks... Makes any game run like a turd...

Batman: Arkham Knight came out too early...if it had come out this Holiday Season, the frame rates on everyone's new 1080/1070/RX480 would look great

And, the crappy performance on the Maxwell series would motivate owners to upgrade to Pascal, instead of blaming WB.

"It's the new Crysis, ya gotta have a heavy metal GPU to run it!!"

I wonder what new heavy GPU draining game(s) will push Pascal forward?

I guess you missed the part where WB failed to deliver workable frame rates, and promised upgrades to fix it, and WB/Steam offered an unprecedented full refund till the end of last year.

It was all over the news, for a long long time... :)

Now after more upgrades, the frame rate is much improved from when it was first released. Pretty much acceptable, except for bailing on SLI support.

    On a GT80 SLI 980m CPU/GPU OC'd, I last got 84 fps 1080p with everything on highest settings. Of course, SLI didn't work :)

i run it maxed out at 1080p with gameworks on and it's good for 30fps on my oc'd 980M. A laptop with g-sync/freesync would be nice since then i don't really need to worry about capping framerates.

Once i get that laptop i'll be ditching my alienware that has been at my side for 2 years...i could sell it or use it as a capture rig for PS4/XB1 gameplay.

your 980m should be getting higher framerates than 30

My next GPU upgrade is something I'm really itching for.. 970M isn't perfect for 1440p however it's ok for now.. Need an upgrade though to 1080M :D

It's not so much about higher fps, it's about the stability and consistency of the fps. I'm for a smooth gaming experience and if I have to play the game at 30fps then so be it!
