Actually I must point out that BF3 was not balanced in its game modes for PC's extra player counts/vehicle numbers and had disgustingly awful netcode that didn't work at all for anyone under a set ping number as well as battlelog being required to even launch the SP version of the game. Let alone the fact that the classes weren't balanced at all. That being said it did look quite good and it was played for a long time and a lot of people loved it, and it was successful and it sold a lot of copies and dlc and all that... but please don't say it was a great game.

As for Battlefield 4, I hold no breath that it will be any better than BF3, nor that any netcode optimizations will be introduced. It looks a bit prettier than BF3 and less blue, this is true, but graphics alone isn't enough for me to want a PC game. If it comes out and it has good netcode and it plays well and has balanced classes and balanced game modes for PC's player counts (and that it would change the game for different server counts, such as extra transport vehicles in a 64-man server for rush etc), then and only then would I even consider getting it.

That being said, I hope it does come out well so that I could enjoy another Battlefield game. I did like BF:BC2 and I played a good bit of BF3 when it came out, around 80 hours before I made any kind of judgement about it, but if BF4 comes out in a similar stead, then I can't really justify grabbing it. But if it works out well then I'll be glad for it. But no judgements from me right now yet.

Oh, and Origin has to fix itself too. Better be charged in US dollars and get an English page so I can actually read things. Oh and non-US people get the sales too >_>. Yeah Origin and no battle log are HEAVILY driving forces too. I forgot to mention that.

Either way.... pretty XD. Let's hope they WON'T ban people for removing the overly massive lens flare and the blue/brown filters over the graphics this time. So we can really see the pretty.

Everything you ask for, D2 Ultima, likely will not be addressed: net code improvements, balanced game modes, no battlelog, etc. BF3 sold very well despite those flaws. Although maybe all the cheating will make them change their minds. But why should they? Cheaters paid their money too.

That's why I have no breath held for BF4. Everyone is all happy about the graphics and all that, and say how successful BF3 was, but graphics and sales numbers don't make a game good. BF3 was NOT good. Hell, up till last week I STILL get the knife bug where if I'm MEANT to get a takedown but the game doesn't trigger it, I must stand there with my knife out for the duration of the intended takedown kill, unable to swipe the knife, switch weapons or do anything at all except run away. 1.5 years after the game's release and five MASSIVE dlc packs later. If BF4 comes out and people tell me consistently that it's great and I see for myself, then maybe I'll think about getting it. But everyone's talking like BF3 was the best thing ever and how BF4 is going to blow everyone away and I'm just like... meh. *resumes hunt for good fast-paced fps title*
