Yea this game once was considered "HUGE" it took more space on HDD than any other games
and was filled with more various elements and graphics was really good for 1997 (?) game
-
Vampire the masequerade Redemption and Bloodlines, both very awesome games.
-
I remember my aunt bought it for me out of the bargain bin when I was in HS and I ran it on my 333 MHz Emachines with my 33.6 modem. Hehe.
-
Yeah this game was great too
Another real gem, one of my favourites, Majesty: The Fantasy Kingdom Sim -
Lolol yeah theme hospital was actually kinda fun.

Thund3rball I dont know, I'm guessing
Quake 4
Not that this is a sleeper but I didn't think I'd like it as much as I did. Played the SP through like 3 times.
Far Cry
I think this game was highly overlooked when it was released because of Half-Life 2. FC has much more penetration now though and is quite popular. Again I had no idea I'd like it as much as I did!
XIII
Ya this game was quite different but I only played it through once. Tried to play it through a 2nd time but without the constant "newness' it wasn't the same. :\ -
Psychonaughts: really solid game but didnt sell at all... I guess it was too weird.
Dark Forces I: before all the jedi nonsense, this game was the bomb.
Fallout Tactics: Generally panned by critics, but I loved this game. Fallout IP title with squad based strategy action... it was just a really refreshing and different game.
Chip's Challenge: I doubt anyone else remembers this game because it was bundled with windows 3.1 WAY back in the day, but I have fond memories. -
Agreed. Not sure it was a true sleeper, but it busted out without much promotion, but got picked up by the magazines eventually.
-
Gotta be "Pong". I played it when it was brand new!
-
Haha I remember watching my aunt play that when I was a kid--it was awesome!
ETA: I also remember her and/or my cousin playing Dune and Lemmings
I was playing the King's Quest and Space Quest series at the time I think.

Solitare, without a doubt. So intuitive and easy to learn. Best part is, the name is spot on, and you can play by yourself! Multiplayer hasn't been worked out yet though.
-
i can only answer letter b.
the answer for letter b would be resistance : fall of man..
i never cared about soldier/FPS/guns genre.. but i decided
to play it because it's the only game i've got fot my ps3..
LOL. and i enjoyed it! :3 -
Same with me, except the exception was Unreal Tournament 2004. So easy to learn.

Oh dude, Chip's Challenge was on our HP tower we got in '96, it was sweet. The HP also came with Sonic CD, hellz yeah......... -
1nsane - the car crushing part and capture the flag.. never thought I will still play this! So much action, endless maps (like on a little globe you may return by going straight ahead).. why don't they release a sequel? I think it's the most complete car game ever!
