It's a single player game.
You can play online with people and the Party Pack which is already installed in the PC version - adds offline multiplayer-feature, but overall you can only beat the game alone, the offline multiplayer is just for extra fun.
-
Multiplayer is fun as well,
BTW, anyone know when the cops mod is comming out for t his game. -
Theres two versions of the game. (I HAVE THE GAME)
THERES burnout cars and burnout bikes. The bikes are really fun. -
-
No there isn't.
The bikes were added to the game a long time ago with a free update, it's not a new game. The PC version has all the updates of console versions thus far, that's it. -
Okay, so basically you can play the games with bikes as well beacuse the bike update that was released with the console is included with the PC version??
-
Yep, that's how it is.
-
OK
Thanks for clearing that up
Wrong information is going around -
this was one of my favourite games, but i lent it to my mate and he scratched it to oblivion and ruined the disc so i can't play it anymore.
fattail95 -
I take it that it wasn't the pc edition though -
Okay since I HAVE THE GAME (lol) the bikes part of the game is the same as the car parts. If you pick bikes for example it a seperate campaign with the same features. Basically if you pick bikes you have to complete all the challenges (which are the same) as the car parts.
Rayyan I think I got your friend request on burnout paradise. We should get a game together. -
I haven't been able to get the game yet
Not available here yet -
ArmageddonAsh Mangekyo Sharingan
i think it would have been better to be able to race against bikes as well if you are a car, splitting them up so its only cars vs cars and bikes vs bikes is a bit boring
add me: ArmageddonAsh13 -
ye but like if u were a bike and an aggression car rolled up behind u, u would be pretty screwed...
-
-
just played the game real quick and so far, I have 2 questions:
1: How in the hell do you save?
2: How do you exit out of the game?
I hit escape and it just took me to a menu that didn't give me any options to save or exit. So I did the alt ctrl del to stop the game and exit.
WTH? -
Game saves automatically. The easy way to exit is ALT+F4.
-
Isn't there any actual command/menu that allows you to exit in the game
Alt+F4 shouldn't have to be pressed, right?? -
ArmageddonAsh Mangekyo Sharingan
press escape and press f1 or f2 (i think) to change to other screens and you will see the save and exit button
not sure what to press to change to other screens as i use 360 controller -
So there is an in-built quit
LOL
Thanks man -
ArmageddonAsh Mangekyo Sharingan
yeah there is
no problem glad i could help -
I'm using the xbox controller also, i go to the f2 or f1 screen, and still dont see any options to save / exit. I'll try again when I get home.
-
Thats when you know something went wrong with game development. They dont want you to leave the game!!! Its a trap! Uninstall it nOW!!!
lol
Seriously though it has an autosave feature. I guess CTRL ALT DEL works and so does ALT F4. -
I'm not too stressed bout the menus
They can even leave them out as long as the game it optimized properly
that's the development I'm interested in
I don't want to have more GTAIVs that run like crap [but have good menus]
-
Burnout was optimized very good. So you got to give them credit.
-
-
Ok, finally got it. You hit esc and (f2) twice.
When you hit f2 twice, you'll have the option to save and quit. -
ArmageddonAsh Mangekyo Sharingan
ah i was right i said F1 or F2
-
Yes the game does run great. FULL MAXED out settings on my 6860fx. Though i have heard that 7811 FX users are having lag issues. That might be because of the 1920 1200 res they are running on. Gotta love that 1440 900.
Driver: 182.05 loves this game and runs well.
