I felt exactly the same. The fact that they let you slowly limp around and look at all the destruction only made me that more saddened. It was like "they wouldnt kill off Jackson would they?", then right after, BOOM, K.I.A.

LMAO! No, lie, i shot him like 20 times, it was one of the most gratifying feelings ive ever had in a video game

Im not gonna take it back, i really got into this game.

After the nuke going off, the east coast of the united states being targeted for an attack that wouldve killed 41 million+, almost getting blown up, watching griggs die beside me, and him shooting another one of my men point blank..... i unloaded on that guy

its weird, this game has to be one of the greatest games at capturing the feeling of being in a war

 

No you were never supposed to hit the helicopter, if you were supposed to then the road would never end..... lol, cause no one can ever hit that

 

I just beat the game on the hardest level in 5 hours, kinda pissed it was that short and I beat it so quickly; but wow..What a ****ing awesome game.

To be perfectly honest, serving 4 years in the infantry division in the reserves, and then playing this game - scared the **** out of me. Especially after the Marines die and viewing the destruction after. Honestly, scary stuff considering everyone including the bible says that craps gonna go down soon. 8|

I hit the helicopter at the end every time, didn't go down. A RPG couldn't take out that helicopter so easily anyways. Those things are lethal but not destructive enough to take out a army chopper in a few hits. Plus ya, we could have shot it a billion times but nothing would have happen. Scripted events :/

They should have made it so that if the player hits the helicopter, it stars spiralling out of control but still fires a rocket onto the bridge and if the player never hit it, then it would still destroy the bridge.

 

lolllll if he said, finishing the game was so satisfying, I'd agree, but I don't know what it's like to get pleasure from shooting anything in the face.

I always shoot the legs, and if the computer generated character doesn't cease fire, i shoot for a main artery

 

It's a little known fact that Captain Keys in Halo changed his name from Price because the Price Loop didn't make a very good maneuver name.
